One of the greatest things about Blizzard's latest first-person shooter Overwatch is the care and devotion that the game's developers clearly have for the title. Game director Jeff Kaplan himself often personally takes to the online forums in order to inform fans, share a laugh, or in a more recent instance, shut down a troll.

With millions of players logging on to test their skills in Overwatch every day, there's always going to be a few users who just want to complain for the sake of complaining. And while contructive criticism is often appreciated, one online troll was put in his place by the director himself.

Battle.net user SharkyMarky posted in the Overwatch forums, asking 'Do Blizzard Even Play Their Own Game??????' with the comment 'nuff said' as an accompaniment. Of course dozens of these threads probably go ignored every day, but as a developer it can't be easy to see such annoying statements being made. Addressing the user directly, Jeff replied:

"We play the game a lot. Looking at your profile, I've won approximately 800 more games than you have. That's not counting the daily internal playtests I am in, the time I spent in Alpha and Beta.

Did you have a specific question or are you just here trolling?"

The exchange recently made it to the top of the Overwatch subreddit where thousands upvoted the post, with many praising the director's response. It's no surprise that the forum responded with such support to Kaplan though, as Jeff is something of a literal hero to the Overwatch fan-base.

In other recent Overwatch news, the next map to be coming to the team-based shooter is confirmed to be just around the corner. Horizon Lunar Colony, which brings players to Winston's old home on the moon, wil release next week across all platforms.

Overwatch is available now for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
