The multiplayer hero shooter Overwatch is no stranger to adding new costumes for players to customize its various characters. The game has also been known to release different seasonal and holiday-themed costumes for the cast, including Halloween.
For example, a notable Overwatch Halloween-themed costume is the mad scientist costume for Junkrat called Dr. Junkenstein, evoking the fictional character Dr. Victor Frankenstein. To celebrate the holiday, the official Overwatch Twitter recently posted images of five Overwatch characters in their new Halloween Terror costumes. Not only that, but the images were released as posters, or "Terror Posters," showing off the characters in their new Halloween costumes and the artists who designed the posters.
The first tweet has an image of the Overwatch hero Brigitte who appears as a vampire slayer, and the tweet reads, "She came to slay." The poster itself is titled Brigitte The Vampire Slayer, starring Brigitte herself and is directed by Halfred Glitchbot, evoking the famous filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock. The second tweet has a poster of the Overwatch hero Echo with a more vampiric design that says "Fang-tastic." It even has a small shot of her about to feast on a sleeping female omnic.
