As is the case every year, Overwatch is celebrating the scariest holiday with some themed content. Junkenstein’s Revenge is back once again, with the popular survival mode tasking players with protecting the Eichenwalde door from Zomnics. However, while there is plenty of fun to be had with this unique brawl, many Overwatch players have already played it several times now. As such, their attention is likely focused on this year’s new skins.

Halloween Terror 2021 does not disappoint when it comes to cosmetics, as Overwatch fans get some incredible costumes for the game’s cast of characters. As is always the case, the five Legendary skins are purchased through coins or obtained via Loot Boxes, while three Epic skins are tied to weekly challenges. The haunting new costumes are as follows.

Overwatch’s Legendary Skins For Halloween Terror 2021

As always, Overwatch’s new legendary skins will be on the expensive side, with players needing to drop 3,000 credits for each new outfit. Overwatch loot boxes are the only other way to get them, too, so players will want to be playing the game a lot in the next few weeks to try for these skins. With the new items certainly not disappointing, players should spot at least one skin that they want to add to their collection.

While the community shared some great concepts for a new Bastion Halloween Terror skin, it is hard to argue that the one created by Blizzard does not look great. While the Omnic was a Tombstone in an older Halloween Terror skin, this time around he’s a Coffin. A neat spotlight head piece joins some chains and a closing casket door on his arm and a skeletal Ganymede to make for a truly memorable skin. Brigitte also gets a fresh look, with the outfit making the Support hero look a whole lot like Ciri from The Witcher 3. Alongside the short white hair, the gothic outfit, skull shoulder pad, and intricate shield fit the Vampire Hunter theme well.

With Brigitte hunting Vampires, Echo may want to be careful. The Vampire Bat skin gives echo pointy wings, massive ears, and a unique red face plate. Up next is Lucio’s Halloween Terror skin, with the Satyr outfit giving him horns. It features a neat beard, a wool lower body, and an awesome Sonic Amplifier with a skull on the back. Finally, there is the incredible Draugr Reinhardt skin, with the German Knight getting a Norse makeover. Glowing blue eyes and purple skin combine with different armor, a new beard, and a horned helmet to make for one of the coolest Reinhardt skins in some time.

Overwatch’s Challenge Skins For Halloween 2021

Overwatch’s first weekly challenge skin for Halloween Terror 2021 focuses on Genji, with the cyborg ninja being given a skeletal look. The yellow spray-painted bones make his armor look great, and the skull resembles the one from Sombra’s Los Muertos skin. Next up, there is Einherjar Zarya, which gives the Tank some sleeveless black armor and darkened hair. The skin is a nod to Norse mythology, as these are fallen warriors that feast with the Valkyrie before Ragnarok.

Finally, week three brings Clown Roadhog, which was seen in the event’s reveal. A clear homage to the It movies and books, Roadhog looks a lot like Pennywise - with a neat touch being the clown tattoo on his stomach. As always, these skins are obtained by getting nine wins in each week that the event is running. With emotes seeing Baptiste doing the Thriller dance, Moira scaring teammates, and Sigma lifting pumpkins, these cosmetics should not disappoint fans of the Halloween Terror event.

Overwatch is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
