In a flashy new video, NRG eSports has revealed its roster of players that will represent San Francisco in the professional Overwatch League. Besides revealing the players on the San Francisco Overwatch team, the video also confirms some high profile new investors, which includes A-list music artist and actress Jennifer Lopez, as well as NRG investor Shaquille O'Neal.

J.Lo and Shaq are joined by current NFL star Marshawn Lynch and former NFL player Michael Strahan, who is currently one of the hosts of Live! With Kelly and Michael. Strahan and Lopez investing money in a professional eSports team is somewhat surprising, but Lynch's involvement makes sense, as the current Oakland Raiders running back is an avid gamer.

Celebrity investors aside, the San Francisco Overwatch League team looks like it will be a force to be reckoned with. The team is comprised of eight players, dhaK, Danteh, IDDQD, Super, Babybay, Sleepy, Nomy, and Sinatraa, with two tank specialists, two support specialists, and four DPS specialists. In the roster reveal video below, fans can see just how impressive these Overwatch players can be:

While San Francisco's professional Overwatch team looks impressive, they will still have their work cut out for them once the first season begins on January 10th, 2018. At the time of this writing, there are a total of 12 teams looking to compete in Overwatch on a professional level, and all of them feature some of the most talented Overwatch players in the world.

Before the official season begins on January 10th, though, spectators will get an idea of which team has the best shot at dominating the first season of professional play. That's thanks to a couple of pre-season events where these teams will have a chance to show off their skills, including the Overwatch World Cup at BlizzCon 2017, as well as a series of exhibition matches that will take place on December 6th.

As we grow nearer to the first season of professional Overwatch play, expect more teams to put out similar videos showing off their skills, as well as their impressive celebrity sponsors.

Overwatch is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
