Overwatch's roster of diverse and appealing characters has inspired many cosplayers over the past couple of years, though one of the most consistently impressive is a cosplayer by the name of Zibartas. Zibartas has gained some attention for his Soldier: 76 cosplay in the past, but his new Overwatch Doomfist cosplay may be his most impressive work yet.

Zibartas's Doomfist cosplay is still a work-in-progress, but he has managed to create an incredible gauntlet that includes light effects and movable parts. According to a post on Zibartas's Facebook page, the Doomfist gauntlet was made using 300 LEDs, five motors, a pressure sensor, and about 300 steel parts, which were all handmade. Zibartas has also put together Doomfist's spine armor, which was made with 60 LEDs and three motors.

Zibartas is clearly going all-out with his Doomfist cosplay, and it's some of the most impressive cosplay that we've seen of the character to date.

Besides Zibartas, there are many other Overwatch fans that have created cosplay of their favorite characters, though, with a few specific examples that immediately spring to mind. For example, Mike Carambat created a D.Va mech suit for his daughter to cosplay as the popular tank character at conventions, and Professional Cosplay Commissions Service recreated the Genji Sentai event skin in impressive detail. Other cosplayers have created tributes to event skins as well, like Tina-Kinz's depiction of Mercy's Halloween Witch costume, for instance.

As Blizzard continues to release new playable heroes for Overwatch, fans should be able to expect the impressive cosplay to continue. It will be interesting to see which character Zibartas tries to tackle next once he's done with his Doomfist costume, but with 26 other characters left untapped - including the recently revealed mech-riding hamster "Wrecking Ball" Hammond - he should have no shortage of options.

Overwatch is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
