Overwatch is in the midst of its Winter Wonderland event for 2017, with fans able to enjoy the return of Mei's Snowball Offensive as well as the addition of the new Yeti Hunt mode. In recognition of the new Yeti Hunt game mode, Blizzard has released an adorable Overwatch comic that depicts Mei trying to hunt and capture a Yeti Winston.

The new Overwatch comic is available to read right now by clicking here. Fans of Overwatch should be pleased by the comic's cute art and its humor, but others may be disappointed that it doesn't expand on the Overwatch canon. Regardless, it's only six pages long, so anyone that considers themselves a fan of the game should still consider checking it out.

While it would have been nice to have a new Overwatch comic that adds to the lore, this Yeti Hunt comic is still a nice holiday treat for fans of Blizzard's hero-based FPS. Plus, it's a nice way to remember the Yeti Hunt game mode, which will likely disappear once the Winter Wonderland event concludes in early January.

Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2017 legendary skins

Blizzard has been going all-out for the Winter Wonderland event this year. Not only did it release the Yeti Hunt comic and a new game mode by the same name, but it has also added a slew of new skins for players to unlock. Some of the skins, like Hanzo's new skin, have not been well-received by fans, but others seem like solid additions to Overwatch's growing list of impressive cosmetic items.

Anyone interested in participating in Overwatch's Winter Wonderland event still has a couple of weeks to do so. And with the game available at half price for the holidays, the event also marks the perfect opportunity for those that have been thinking about picking up the game to jump right into the action.

Overwatch is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
