Overwatch regularly adds new cosmetics for players to unlock, and it's always exciting to see what new skins have been dreamed up by the team at Blizzard. Overwatch fans often try their hand at making skins for the game as well, with one Reddit user coming up with a clever idea for a Winter Wonderland Wrecking Ball skin.

Reddit user Devygone has created art that shows a Wrecking Ball Snow Globe skin. This Wrecking Ball Christmas skin is mostly red, with snowflake designs on the mech, and Hammond himself wearing a Santa hat. The snow globe design lets players actually see into Hammond's ball, where we can see snow falling, a snowman, and presents. It's one of the most creative Wrecking Ball skin designs we've seen, and it would be great to see Blizzard implement something like it for the actual game.

Hammond's unique design has lent itself well to unique Overwatch skins, and as a result, some of his skins have proven to be quite popular. Take the Wrecking Ball Halloween skin from October 2018 for example. That skin turns Wrecking Ball into a Jack-O-Lantern and gives Hammond a devilish new look appropriate for the spooky holiday, and was well-received by fans.

As it stands, Wrecking Ball doesn't have any Winter Wonderland skins, so it will be interesting to see if he gets any in the upcoming event. Blizzard usually starts the Overwatch Winter Wonderland event the second or third week of December, so we should be getting our first looks at the new skins sooner rather than later. Whether or not Wrecking Ball gets a Christmas skin or not remains to be seen, but it will be exciting to see what Blizzard comes up with, and if there is anything as creative as Devygone's design.

Of course, the Overwatch Winter Wonderland event consists of more than just new skins. There will be plenty of other cosmetics to unlock as well, not to mention seasonal game modes like Mei's Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunter, and Winter Mystery. It's possible Blizzard may even shake things up this year with something completely different, but fans will just have to stay tuned to find out.
