Not long after the release of Overwatch's newest hero Moira, Blizzard has made its next Hybrid map available to all players on PC, via the game's Public Test Realm. Announced back at BlizzCon 2017 by none other than Game Director Jeff Kaplan himself, Blizzard World is a map inspired by all of the developer's past and current titles, and is packed full of Easter eggs to be discovered.

The theme park map lets players visit the Hearthstone Tavern, Pylon Terrace, and many other locations pulled from other Blizzard games as Overwatch players battle it out to first Assault the objective and then Escort a payload to the end of the map. The newest addition to the list of maps will also contain some more generic theme park features such as a Ferris Wheel and some significantly-huge Roller Coasters.

Although initially believed to be releasing in early 2018, Blizzard World's addition to the PTR means that the map will likely be releasing for all players in around two or three weeks, depending on player response. Should the map prove to be reasonably balanced, the theme park location could come to all platforms as early as next Tuesday, though it's likely to take just a little more time.

Seeing as we're currently less than a month away from this year's Winter Wonderland seasonal eventOverwatch players are certainly getting a lot of new, exciting content as we begin to reach the end of 2017. When the next major event starts, Overwatch will take on a festive theme, complete with new skins, emotes, and probably also the return of Mei's Snowball Offensive game mode.

In other recent Overwatch news, Blizzard has recently reached out to the community in an effort to acknowledge some of the game's more toxic players. A company dedicated to the motto 'Play Nice; Play Fair', the developer promised to eliminate toxicity from the game as much as possible, and thanked those users who make good use of the report system to indicate players who are making the experience unpleasant for others.

Overwatch is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
