Overwatch is full of larger-than-life characters with striking designs and even more vibrant personalities, so it's no wonder that many fans have poured time and effort into bringing Overwatch's characters to life over the years. Now, one first-time cosplayer on Reddit has managed to create a stunning cosplay of outlaw legend Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe.

Ashe is a damage-oriented hero with a gunslinger motif who, like Jesse McCree before her, looks like she stepped out of the old west despite Overwatch being set about 60 years in the future. Her cowboy hat, armored leather, and mostly-unzipped vest make for an iconic look that some fans would love to pull off with the flair of cosplayer Galaxy_Muddler's take on Tracer's Overwatch 2 outfit.

Redditor sarahjanebee_ prefaces their post by declaring that this is their first-ever attempt at cosplay, and they've chosen Ashe as their first subject. The attached sweat drop emoji suggests that the cosplayer was embarrassed by their efforts, but as of writing, their take on Ashe seems to have been embraced by Reddit. While the photographs only show the cosplay from the waist up, it appears to be a solid attempt to capture the original design. Ashe fans may want to take a moment to appreciate this cosplayer's hard work while waiting for Ashe's Overwatch 2 redesign to be released.

Both pictures show the cosplayer dressed in an open leather vest, an open-collared dress shirt, a bright red tie, fingerless gloves, and a dark cowboy hat. They also appear to be sporting some hand-made upper-arm armor pieces, though the angles make it a bit difficult to tell exactly what they are. To top off an already stunning cosplay, they're showing off an asymmetrical white wig, vivid red lipstick, and some stunning eye make-up that looks like it was taken straight from McCree and Ashe's animated short.

The pictures appear to have been warmly received by Reddit, with the comment section filled with congratulations on the cosplayer's photoshop skills, make-up, and overall skill. Several posters have jokingly questioned where Ashe's omnic butler B.O.B. is or who is taking the picture, apparently overlooking the possibility that B.O.B. is the cameraman. The general consensus seems to be that this first-time cosplay looks absolutely gorgeous. Most posters would love to see more of this cosplayer's work, particularly if they are interested in portraying some of the other girls of Overwatch.

While these images have a rather generic room as a background, future works could contain more game-accurate backdrops, possibly including the Overwatch Route 66 map featured in Ashe and McCree's animated short.

Overwatch is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
