Overwatch's Anniversary 2018 event kicks off next week, but Blizzard is getting the celebration started early with new skin reveals. The publisher shared two new Anniversary 2018 event skins on Twitter earlier today, unveiling new looks for both Tracer and Soldier: 76.

The new Soldier skin for Overwatch is an Epic-tier skin called Venom Soldier: 76. Fans can check out the new skin right here:

Those looking for something a little flashier may be more interested in Tracer's new skin. Tracer's new skin is an Epic-tier skin called Lightning Tracer, and it outfits the speedy time traveler with a new yellow suit. Not only does the Lightning Tracer skin change the color of her outfit, but it also switches up her hairstyle to a blonde mohawk.

Here's the new Lightning Tracer skin that will be available as part of the Overwatch Anniversary 2018 event:

Of course, the Anniversary 2018 event in Overwatch will have a lot more in store for fans than just these new Tracer and Soldier skins. The event will feature new skins for other members of the Overwatch roster as well, with one leaked pirate-themed Junkrat skin looking especially impressive.

Besides new cosmetic items, Overwatch fans can expect the Anniversary 2018 event to add other content to the game as well. The event will be introducing the new Free-for-All map Petra, plus it will let players try out seasonal brawls from the past. Free-for-All fans should also know that Blizzard is planning to launch the game's first-ever Free for All Competitive season, which should make the game mode more appealing for more hardcore players.

Overall, the Anniversary 2018 event for Overwatch sounds like it is shaping up to be one of the biggest seasonal events in the game to date. From new cosmetics to a new Free-for-All map, it seems as though Anniversary 2018 will have something in store for everybody. In the meantime, fans should keep an eye on the official Overwatch Twitter page for more skin reveals in the coming days.

Overwatch is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
