In Overwatch, one of the rarest things to see in the game is a 6k (six kill) squad wipe. While "Team Kills" aren't necessarily all that hard to come by, it takes a great deal of skill combined with sheer luck to pull off a true 6k squad wipe (as in, a sextuple kill), and so those on the Overwatch subreddit have been sharing their greatest 6k squad wipes. This has included some rather impressive feats that can be seen in the various clips posted so far.

In the true spirit of the team-based multiplayer game, rarely are 6k squad wipes in Overwatch the result of a single player. Most of the time, 6k squad wipes are the result of players working together, combining the abilities of their characters to take out a ton of enemies at once. Take, for example, the following 6k squad wipe with Reinhardt. In the clip, Reinhardt uses his Ultimate to knock down the entire team, and then fellow tank hero Wrecking Ball is able to help finish the job.

Another good example of 6ks achieved with teamwork can be seen in the next clip, which sees Hanzo and Roadhog combining their Ultimates. In the clip, Hanzo's Ultimate takes out three members of the enemy team, but then Roadhog pushes the rest of the enemies into the dragons before they can escape, triggering the team wipe and Play of the Game. For some reason, Reinhardt is give the "assist" in the kill-feed, but it's still an impressive feat for all players involved.

One character that has proven to be quite popular to use when Overwatch players are shooting for 6ks is the damage hero McCree. This is because McCree's High Noon Ultimate ability is designed to target multiple enemies at once, and in fact can hit all members of the opposing team simultaneously. There's an audio cue for the enemy team whenever McCree uses his Ultimate that gives players a decent amount of time to hide or even kill McCree before he can use the attack, so pulling them off can be especially tricky.

Another character that is commonly used for 6ks in Overwatch is Junkrat. Junkrat's Rip-Tire can be one of the most devastating Ultimate attacks in Overwatch when used strategically. As long as the enemy team is grouped together, Junkrat has potential to wipe them all, and that's exactly what happened in the following clip.

With the upcoming Overwatch 2 adding new heroes, maps, game modes, and more, it opens the door for fans to get even more creative with the 6k squad wipes. We have no idea when exactly Overwatch 2 will be launching, though, so fans of the hero-shooter will have to keep racking up 6ks in the original game for now.

Overwatch is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
