One Overwatch 2 fan has created a video that compiles and features some of the new dialogue interactions between Ramattra and the game's many other heroes. Ramattra is the latest hero to be added to Overwatch 2, and is an Omnic tank hero capable of switching between two different and powerful forms during battles.
Ramattra was first revealed last month during the Overwatch League Grand Finals, which featured the hero's design, voice acting, and backstory in the package of the hero's origin story. As the founder of the Omnic terrorist group known as Null Sector, Ramattra is a powerful Omnic with a close relationship with Zenyatta, and many players believe that Ramattra will be a vital character in the PvE game mode confirmed to be coming to Overwatch 2 sometime next year. Ramattra has a variety of powerful weapons and forms, wielding a Void Accelerator staff that fires nanite projectiles at a distance and is capable of placing strong shields to encourage advances while in his Omnic form. When he switches to his goliath Nemesis Form, however, Ramattra becomes a massive and unstoppable tank capable of creating shockwaves with his fists and blocking incoming damage.
As is custom for the many characters in Overwatch 2's hero roster, Ramattra's relationships with other heroes can be seen in the form of dialogue interactions that typically play out before a match begins. A fan on Reddit by the name of Joy_ow created a video showing off some of Ramattra's dialogue interactions in the game. Depending on the heroes present on the team, Ramattra can occasionally spark conversations with other characters during preparation time, perhaps most notably discussing with Zenyatta about their history and troubles regarding the violence inflicted upon Omnics by humanity. The video also shows off some unique lines of dialogue that play when Ramattra kills Zenyatta or Genji during a match.
Ramattra is the first hero to be added to the game since Kiriko, who was introduced alongside Sojourn and Junker Queen when Overwatch 2 first launched at the start of October. Ramattra's introduction to the hero cast coincides with the launch of the game's Season 2, which brings a new battle pass to players alongside many new cosmetics, the new Shambali Monastery map, and the return of Rialto and Blizzard World to the map rotation.
The new season has created much excitement within the Overwatch 2 community, with many fans anticipating the highly-requested nerfs to characters such as Sojourn. While many of Overwatch 2's problems were brought up and subsequently dealt with over the course of Season 1, some of the community's biggest complaints – particularly regarding shop prices – continue to bother many in the community. Though Blizzard has announced that certain event-specific cosmetics will be unlockable for free from Season 2 onwards, many players continue urging the developers to take action and lower skin prices in the game.
