The power of Tracer is put on full display when one Overwatch 2 player manages to kill an entire team using her Ultimate. While many DPS gamers are playing as the new hero Sojourn in Competitive matches, there are many other viable picks in Overwatch 2 for the Damage role, such as Tracer.

As many fans of the series already know, Tracer is a hero in Overwatch 2 that is difficult to play effectively. With only 150 health, a number of characters can eliminate her in only a couple of shots. That being said, she has a very high skill ceiling for those who learn how to use her abilities correctly. Although she does not have much health, she comes equipped with Blink, which allows her to teleport short distances, and Blink, which gives her the power to travel back in time, regaining health lost just before the time travel.

In addition to these abilities, her Pulse Bomb can be very destructive, sometimes even making the difference between winning and losing a team fight. This was recently put on full display by one gamer called Muhhkain during a match on Colosseo, one of the new Push maps in Overwatch 2. In the clip, the player revealed just how effective Tracer’s Ultimate could be in a battle.

The action started as Muhhkain’s team escorted the robot close to the enemy spawn. Waiting for the right opportunity, Tracer stood in a side room with her Pulse Bomb ready. Suddenly, she moved out into the street next to where the enemy team had grouped up. She then planted her Pulse Bomb on the nearby Zarya. Impressively, the bomb exploded before the tank could activate her Particle Barrier, causing her and the rest of the team to be eliminated and giving Muhhkain a rare team kill in the process.

When posting the clip to the Overwatch 2 subreddit, Muhhkain commented on their good fortune, saying, “I’ll never get this lucky again.” It seems many gamers agree with the player, as the post has already gathered more than 1.2K upvotes in only several hours. While Muhhkain was definitely right in saying that some luck was involved in getting all the enemies on the opposing team to bunch up, the Reddit user still had to Blink in and attach the Pulse Bomb to the enemy Zarya, which is easier said than done.

It will be interesting to see what other highlights players like Muhhkain are able to pull off using Tracer in the coming weeks. While Overwatch 2 recently revealed that several heroes will be getting a nerf in the coming days, including fellow DPS Genji, it appears that Tracer’s kit is not being touched. As a result, she should continue to be a good pick in Competitive matches for those who know how to use her abilities effectively.

Overwatch 2 is out now in early access for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
