One company that has cultivated a fervent and faithful fanbase within the gaming sphere is Blizzard Entertainment. Since the original Warcraft released in 1994, the developer has continued to grow its dedicated fan community from the original Starcraft all the way to Overwatch and many, in turn, take any opportunity to express their love of Blizzard's universes. One fan shared her own love of Overwatch with her latest cosplay of the series face Tracer inspired by her new look in Overwatch 2.

As part of Overwatch 2, Blizzard is working to freshen up the base looks of the game's heroes ahead of the game's eventual release. The Overwatch 2 redesigns do not stray too far from the ones that greeted fans in the first game, but reflect the changing world these characters occupy and the time that's passed since the first game. Some have been as simple as adding a piece of clothing to their preexisting look, like Genji's new jacket, while other are getting almost complete overhauls, like Widowmaker.

Tracer sits somewhere in the middle, and one dedicated cosplayer didn't waste time bringing her new look to life. The effort shared online by cosplayer Galaxy_Muddler was found by Dexerto and accurately captures the English Overwatch agent. Galaxy_Muddler is seen wearing the updated chronal accelerator, providing Tracer her time-bending powers, over the refreshed jumpsuit and a new bomber jacket befitting the former Royal Air Force pilot.

For many hardcore fans, cosplay is the ultimate way to express their love of the franchises and characters within them. This is an area of the fan community Blizzard regularly highlights and pushes to grow. One way it does so is the cosplay contests held as part of BlizzCon every year where cosplaying fans show off their latest efforts. The cosplay put on display range from the heroes of Overwatch, the demonic creatures from Diablo, and the characters of Warcraft.

Galaxy_Muddler, in particular, is one of these dedicated fans who has brought Tracer to life multiple times in the past. Her previous cosplays include Tracer's base look from Overwatch and what Tracer on a beach day may look like. Galaxy_Muddler isn't just a fan of Tracer, though, as she also brought the gunslinger Ashe and the medical savant Mercy to life. Other efforts by Galaxy_Muddler run the gamut of gaming and pop culture including DC Comics characters Starfire and Harley Quinn, Guardians of the Galaxy's Gamora, League of Legends' Jinx, and Mad Moxxi of Borderlands fame.

Overwatch is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
