A skillful Overwatch 2 Junker Queen player ambushed the opposite team by jumping from one side of the map to the other on the classic Rialto map. This feat is even more impressive as Overwatch 2's Junker Queen is a tank-based character with less mobility than other heroes in the game.

After Blizzard Entertainment released its big Junker Queen buff in Overwatch 2 last year, more players are giving this tank hero a try. Junker Queen is not usually known for her aerial abilities. She usually stays close to the ground as a “berserker” character, hacking and slashing everything around her as she uses her powers to drain the enemy team's health slowly.

Reddit user Nkantu posted a clip from an intense match on the Italian-inspired map Rialto. The most notable spot on the map is the area with the dueling bridges. It’s common for players to snipe at each from across the map, using the closed-off areas for cover. In the clip, Nkantu plans on surgically striking from a distance but realizes they won't be able to hit their target. Instead, Nkantu activates Junker Queen's ultimate ability and flies across the map to surprise the other team. It’s not rare to find an entertaining Overwatch 2 Junker Queen clip, but this viral clip takes the hero to new heights.

Typically, a tank-type character wouldn’t be able to achieve this kind of jump, but Junker Queen’s ultimate ability, Rampage, allowed this player to get just enough air to pull off this Evil Knievel move. This type of high-flying maneuver can be recreated, but it will take a lot of skill, timing, and luck. It’s unclear if the developers intended for this character to catch the amount of air that she did, but the more this clip goes around, the more Junker Queen players there will be attempting this feat.

Junker Queen is not the only hero in the game able to achieve incredible-looking stunts. Recently, a Reinhardt player uploaded an action-packed Overwatch clip that almost rivals the Junker Queen one. It’s impressive that after almost ten years after release, players are still managing to produce exceptional, cinematic-looking moments.

These days, there are a ton of hero shooters out there, but none of them are quite like Overwatch. As long as Blizzard continues to update its newest Overwatch title, which allows for cool moments like this Junker Queen clip, the more likely the game will remain one of the best free-to-play games on the Xbox Series X/S.

Overwatch 2 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series XIS.
