Overwatch 2 players have noticed that there is an error with Junkrat’s trap in the game. The game surged onto the scene, with a recent study revealing that Overwatch 2 was one of the most hyped games in development before its official release, though reactions following release have been mixed, to say the least.

Overwatch 2 players experienced several issues with the game when it came out. Some people were stuck in long queues, only to get kicked out after starting a game, while others were not able to migrate their accounts properly, resulting in locked characters and items. Blizzard has been regularly communicating with the fans and updating them about the state of the game. Players’ complaints can be categorized into various categories, and it looks like even small grammatical errors are still a part of Overwatch 2.

A Reddit user named Spacebar_21 has shared an image describing one of Junkrat’s abilities in Overwatch 2. Junkrat comes equipped with some valuable skills that can deal a lot of damage, as this hero has a combat style that relies on bombs and explosions. One of Junkrat’s moves is called Steel Trap which places an immobilizing trap on the ground. This trap can be destroyed, but it can prove fatal against players that are not paying attention. As seen in the image shown by Spacebar_21, the description of this ability in Overwatch 2 features a grammatical error.

It says gamers can use the Steel Trap skill to “Place an crippling trap” instead of “Place a crippling trap.” Many players including Spacebar_21 jokingly call Overwatch 2 unplayable as a result of this mistake. Some users make comments featuring a similar error, such as “What an joke” and “I don't see an problem with it.”

One gamer sarcastically claims that players need to spend 374 Overwatch Coins to fix the issue. For those unaware, Overwatch 2 has been widely criticized for the monetization practices adopted by Blizzard in this free-to-play release. Overwatch Coins function as a premium currency that can be used to buy skins, battle passes, and more, so this user was likely pointing to how various aspects of the game are monetized.

Some players continue the trend of writing jokes and state that they will leave a negative review for Overwatch 2 because of the error. This is probably a reference to how Overwatch 2 is being review-bombed due to the various issues players have faced since its release.

Overwatch 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
