An Overwatch 2 player has been trapped in the enemy spawn room as the result of a bug that they encountered while swinging their hammer wildly as Reinhardt. Although many of the Overwatch 2 maps are carried over and improved from the original title, some of them may have bugs that still need to be fixed, such as this issue on Dorado.

Reddit user SergiGamer056 has captured an Overwatch 2 video of their attempts to push back the enemy back on the Dorado map, resulting in an unintentional stroll into the opposing team's spawn room. Because Dorado is one of the many Overwatch 2 payload escort maps, defending players regularly push the other team back so far that they can't leave their spawn room, but entering the enemy team's room is a rare occurrence. Although Overwatch 2 spawn rooms are normally off-limits to enemy players, SergiGamer056 utilized the help of a bug to continue their onslaught of damage beyond where it should have ended.

SergiGamer056's Overwatch 2 clip begins with the Reinhardt player lowering their shield to send a Fire Strike at an enemy Orissa to no avail before taking aim at their allied Zarya. Switching back to the opposing team's Orissa, SergiGamer056 continues to swing Reinhardt's hammer as they surprisingly enter the enemy spawn and are free to attack another Reinhardt, D.Va, Moira, and Brigitte who are cornered by the tank. Still getting heals from an allied Moira, SergiGamer056 is able to charge up the remainder of their Ultimate ability by attacking these unsuspecting Overwatch 2 heroes to unleash one final powerful attack before falling to the rapidly respawning enemies.

Although the Dorado map is from the original Overwatch and has been carried over to the sequel, some bugs from the first version of the map may persist based on SergiGamer056's clip. The moment the Reinhardt entered the enemy spawn room seems to have something to do with being charged by the enemy Reinhardt as the "pinned" indicator flashed across the screen while SergiGamer056 walked through the normally inaccessible area. Because Activision Blizzard continues to improve Overwatch 2 with regular updates, this bug on Dorado and others may be fixed in the foreseeable future.

As many fans expressed their enjoyment at SergiGamer056's expense, one player pointed out that the team that was trapped in the spawn room with the Reinhardt may have simply escaped and left the Overwatch 2 tank stuck as they push the payload. Though some Overwatch 2 players stated their puzzlement at SergiGamer05's video, others pointed out their own examples of ending up in enemy spawn rooms or having others end up in theirs in what may be an ongoing issue.

Overwatch 2 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
