A new Overwatch 2 leak revealed new abilities for Brigitte and Moira. Blizzard has confirmed several new features for the game, such as Overwatch 2's player versus environment story missions and new looks for the game's characters.

On Twitter, a user named Voporeon posted a series of images they claimed are from Overwatch 2, stating the images are from a Facebook group that they are part of. In the first set of images, the player is able to choose from six talents for Brigitte. One of these is Godfather's Legacy which gives Brigitte Reinhardt's shield, and another gives her a friend called Mitzi, a cat with a backpack. Blizzard has shared designs of a jetpack cat hero that hasn't been added to the game, though it's unclear why the company would choose to simply make it an ally rather than its own hero.

Another image shows the player choosing a talent for Overwatch character Moira. She can create healing smoke, put an enemy in an orb of poison, and revive enemies. Overwatch's Mercy can already revive characters, and while her revive ability has changed several times since the game was released, it seems strange that Blizzard would give that ability to another character, though it may have something to do with the recent hero pool change.

The revive ability isn't the only reason why fans think this Overwatch 2 leak looks off. On Moira's talent list, there are several spelling issues, such as "Multi Obrs" and "Toxic Prision". These images are from an internal test, says the leaker, but it does seem strange that none of the developers have fixed this.

It's also strange that Brigitte and Moira haven't changed appearance in Overwatch 2 compared to the first game. Blizzard has confirmed that characters will get new designs in Overwatch 2, some of which have already been teased. These leaked images could be from a very early internal test, and the new character looks simply aren't ready yet, but it seems unlikely.

It's unclear when Blizzard is going to make another announcement about Overwatch 2. Fans are anxiously awaiting a release date for the game, and confirming more information about Overwatch 2 could also help to stop fake leaks. The company recently posted a teaser for a new Overwatch character, but while that's exciting for some, it's not what fans were asking for.

Overwatch 2 is currently in development.
