Albedo, the Overseer of the Floor Guardians in the Great Tomb of Nazarick, is an incomprehensible existence. She's the primary female lead in Overlord, and is constantly lusting after its protagonist Ainz Ooal Gown because of a change in her core code before Ainz, who used to go by Momonga, even knew he was about to get "isekai'd".

But, don't let this "crushing schoolgirl" demeanor subvert the expectations that Albedo is powerful, because she's one of the strongest (and scariest) things alive in this setting. As Overseer, Albedo is level 100 and was personally designed by one of the 41 Supreme Beings, specifically Tabula Smaragdina. But, what specific abilities does Albedo have and what are her Skills? Well, let's comb through the Overlord Light Novel, manga, and anime, and see what pops up.

9 Her God-Level Intellect

Overlord - Albedo Talking With Princess Renner Who Is Currently Kneeling For Her

First of all, it must be said that Albedo is one of the most intelligent characters in Yggdrasil, alongside other existences like Demiurge and technically even Princess Renner of the Re-Estize Kingdom.

Without Albedo and Demiurge, Ainz wouldn't be nearly as successful as he has been so far. More often than not, both she and Demiurge assume that Ainz's plans are much more complex than they actually are and adjust accordingly, and this usually works in his favor. Albedo is capable of problem-solving at a country-wide level and can outsmart just about anyone. The only real "detriment" to her genius is how easily she gets annoyed, especially if Ainz is mentioned, and her overall blind devotion (and love) for Momonga.

8 Hyper-Comprehension & Mach-Speed Reading

Overlord - Albedo With A Desk Full Of Paperwork She's Already Read

A large reason for Albedo being so intelligent, other than straight-up being designed that way by her creator, Tabula Smaragdina, is her hyper-comprehension. Basically, it seems like Albedo can comprehend information much faster than any human possibly could. In fact, she reads through an entire binder of E-Rantel documents (after the Sorcerer Kingdom takes over) in about a minute.

To onlookers, it may seem like she's just flipping through a book as one would with a magazine, but Albedo is reading, comprehending, and memorizing the information inside within this short span of time.

7 Total Nullification Of Non-Magical Projectiles

Overlord - Albedo Innately Using Her Total Resistance To Non-Magical Projectiles

This is another Skill that most of the other Nazarick Guardians also likely have, the Total Nullification of Non-Magical Projectiles. Basically, anything that doesn't have magic or mana infused into it, has absolutely no chance of even scratching Albedo.

Ainz also has this nullification, as well as many other resistances or damage-blocking spells, so the times where Albedo re-directs projectiles coming at him or tanks them for him isn't really necessary, but she'll always do it anyway. Of course, just like how Ainz is, by default, weak to the Holy and Fire elements, Albedo also has her own innate weaknesses. But, none of them have been discovered or disclosed so far.

6 Unparalleled Strength & Durability

Overlord - Albedo Ready To Take Any Damage For Ainz

There's a reason why Shalltear calls Albedo a "gorilla" a lot of the time, at least in the first season, and it's due to her raw strength. Albedo's Character Sheet is much more specialized toward her Job Levels than her Racial Level, and that's where a lot of this durability and attack power seems to come from.

She has 10 Levels in the Guardian, Unholy Knight, and Shield Lord Jobs as well as 5 Levels in the Blackguard Job, and those are just the ones the author has revealed. And, based on the names alone or comparing them to similar classes in modern MMORPGs, these are Jobs based around stats like Strength, Defense, and Constitution. Frankly, her physical power is to the point that she can overpower Ainz, even in his Magic Armor, and stop him from moving completely.

5 Her Unnamed "Trump Card" Damage-Transfer Skill

Overlord - Albedo Shouting In Anger Defending Ainz

Everyone needs to have a Trump Card of sorts, especially in a setting like this. A Trump Card, for those unfamiliar with the term, is basically a "final" ability that's meant to be used as the last resort finisher in a battle. It's a move or Skill meant to turn the tides, and, Albedo does have one of these, though it has never been named officially. Basically, Albedo has a Skill that allows her to transfer any damage she takes from an attack to her Armor, leaving her completely unharmed. With this Skill, Albedo has confirmed she can actually tank Super-Tier Magic, which puts her much closer to Ainz's level of power than to the rest of the Guardians.

That said, Armor usually has a high Defense stat, but not much "durability" or "health", so using this Skill usually results in the armor breaking immediately, leaving Albedo exposed. Thankfully, Albedo has her Hermes Trismegistus, a set of Armor made specifically for her that has three "layers" of Armor, allowing her to option to use this Skill a maximum of three times a day without having to put on new armor in between each use.

4 The Walls of Jericho

Overlord - Albedo Using Walls Of Jericho In Isekai Quartet Season 2 Episode 6

Next up is what seems to be the first "Spell-Like" Skill of Albedo's that summons or casts rather than just buffing or modifying Albedo herself, the Walls of Jericho. Now, in the anime, this Skill is only ever referenced while Albedo and Shalltear are arguing and never directly seen. But, funnily enough, the Skill has been visualized in the second season of Isekai Quartet.

While playing Dodgeball, Albeod uses the Walls of Jericho Skill to summon what looks to be the outer wall of a castle made entirely of earth, so fans can only assume this is what the skill would do if used in Overlord, just on a much larger scale.

3 Summon Mount

Overlord - Albedo Summoning Her Bicorn

This next Skill is a bit tragic, as it summons a mount that Albedo herself cannot ride. Albedo's Summon Mount skill brings forth a level 100 Bicorn for her to ride, but it won't let her on its back. Simply put, Bicorns are the opposite of Unicorns, and while Unicorns will only allow "pure maidens" to ride them, Bicorns are the opposite. And, funnily enough for a Succubus, a race usually associated with depravity and lust, Albedo is saving herself entirely for Ainz.

Still, a level 100 Bicorn shouldn't be underestimated, especially an armored one. And, while it won't let her ride, the Bicorn would likely follow any of Albedo's commands while summoned.

2 The Wings Of A Succubus

Overlord - Albedo Using Her Wings To Keep Up With Powered Suit

Next up is less of a Skill and more of an "innate ability" of Albedos. As a Succubus, Albedo has wings that seem to originate from around the small of her back and fold up around her front.

And, while most of the time she has these wings folded around her frontside in a classy fashion, she can absolutely use them to fly or even as weapons depending on the situation. In fact, she can fly at some pretty high speeds, even keeping up Azuth Aindra using his jet-powered Powered Suit to fly in Episode 11 of Season 4. She does mention that if she had her Bicorn she would likely overtake Azuth easily, but at the very least her wings allow her to keep up with the upper echelon of flying creatures in Yggdrasil.

1 Her Rock-Hard Abs

Overlord - Albedo Talking To Demiurge

And finally, let's end things on a jollier note. Albedo, while she might seem slim and proper, is actually incredibly lean and has a very brash side to her if she's allowed to show it. Usually, she only shows this part of her when Ainz is not around. And, as the tankiest member of Nazarick, Albedo has a body that's been designed for combat. In fact, there's even a moment in one of the Overlord CD Dramas where Demiurge attempts to punch Albedo in the stomach to knock her out of her dazed state while she stares at Ainz.

But, a moment later, Albedo comes back to her senses and asks Demiurge if something is wrong, acting as if she didn't even notice the punch. Quite literally, Demiurge punched her and hurt his own hand on her rock-hard abs. This Floor Guardian and absolutely evil level 100 Demon punched her while she wasn't looking and hurt his hand. And, if that's not a supernatural ability, what even is it?
