Last week, Overkill Software gave a proper introduction to the first playable character in its upcoming four-player co-op shooter gameThe Walking Dead. While we still only know details about Aidan's life before the zombie apocalypse, Overkill has teased what the other three playable characters look like in an image on its website.

Since Aidan's trailer is the only one available right now, the images of the other characters are darkened and it's somewhat difficult to make out details. However, it appears as though the other three playable characters in Overkill's The Walking Dead include a redheaded woman, a bearded old man, and an Asian woman. Assuming the order of the characters is the order we will learn more about them, fans should expect to see the redhead's trailer next.

According to Overkill, each of the playable characters will have their own special abilities, skill trees, and play styles. Aidan's trailer showed him using a baseball bat with nails in it, hinting that he may be the more melee-focused character out of the bunch. Aidan's special abilities have yet to be revealed, but they may tie in to his life before the apocalypse, when he worked as either an engineer or an architect.

If that's the case, then one has to imagine that the backstories of the other three playable characters will also influence the way they play in the game. Of course, this is all just speculation at this time. Overkill has yet to specify any of the special abilities for the different characters in the game, and may not do so until next year.

In the meantime, fans should keep an eye out for the next few character trailers that are sure to follow Aidan's. Since Aidan's trailer coincided with The Walking Dead TV show's mid-season finale, perhaps we will get another character trailer when the show returns in February.

Overkill's The Walking Dead will launch in fall 2018 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
