An upcoming farming simulator slated for next year has quickly exceeded two of its three Kickstarter milestones. Ova Maciga's development team will now work to include marriage and character customization.

Ova Maciga is inspired by a number of beloved games. Like most farming sims, it takes some pages from the Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon series as well as Stardew Valley. Players can hatch mysterious creatures from eggs called Blobs, which are inspired by Slimes from Slime Rancher. And it even takes some pages out of Pokemon's book by allowing players to train and battle with their Blobs in the local Blob League.

In just 24 hours, the upcoming farm sim was funded over 230% of its original goal. The Kickstarter page quickly rose past its second milestone of 40,000 euros and is well on its way to the final goal of 55,000 euros, where players will get to play with the Blobs. Afterward, the development team will add more stretch goals to unlock.

Like most farming sims, Ova Magica will have 13 unique bachelors and bachelorettes to befriend and court, each with their own stories, personalities, interests, and daily routines. Players can choose to play either male or female characters, which can now be fully customized thanks to the backers who exceeded the Kickstarter milestone, and Ova Magica supports same-sex relationships. Though the game did not previously include it, marriage will now also be added to the game.

Despite how big the farming simulator might sound with all its bells and whistles, backers can currently purchase it for as little as 20 euros, about $24, though Ova Magica won't release until mid-2022.

Ova Magica is slated for a 2022 release for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
