The RPG co-op shooter Outriders is a game about humanity seeking a new home on the alien planet Enoch, and they find it more dangerous than they originally thought. The game was released to mixed reviews, but despite that, it gained support from its player community, and Outriders received updates from People Can Fly to fix issues and refine its gameplay.

One of the strengths of Outriders is the cooperative online multiplayer as players get together to brave the perils of the planet Enoch. Upon its official launch, the Xbox version of the game was released on Xbox Game Pass for subscribers to also enjoy. Now, a new announcement reveals that players will be able to enjoy Outriders on PC with Xbox Game Pass soon.

Xbox has announced that Outriders will be launching for the Microsoft Store on Windows as well as Xbox Game Pass for PC and Ultimate on October 19. The post also shares good news for Xbox owners of Outriders. It states that players who already own Outriders on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S will be able to transfer their game progress between the console and Windows versions of the game. This will be possible as long as they use the same account for both platforms.

According to the post, game progress for Outriders cannot be transferred to or from the game's Windows version with the other PC storefronts, like Steam, and other non-Xbox consoles. However, the post also shares more information, stating that since Outriders supports cross play, players can still engage in online multiplayer matches with each other, including on PC.

The post states that while Outriders has everything players need to enjoy the game, it adds that players can still get a little bit of more content. According to the post, players will be able to purchase the Hell's Rangers content pack separately up to 10% off with the Xbox Game Pass membership discount. The Outriders Hell's Rangers pack comes with exclusive weapons, armor, and various new designs for players to use for their in-game truck. The new gear will grant players an advantage in the early parts of Outriders' campaign, like several weapon mods that would normally be unlockable later in the game.

Along with this new release of information, the Xbox post hints that there is still more to come with the game. According to the post, there are still some new "exciting updates" for Outriders players to look forward to, and it suggests players keep an eye on the game for the upcoming weeks.

Outriders is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
