People Can Fly's Outriders has had a strong start, although tons of core issues have left many comparing the looter-shooter to Cyberpunk 2077 and Anthem. Still, the developers made sure to leave enough in-game activities and treasures to keep players occupied for a long time.

In total, there are 206 chests for Outriders players to find. For the First City, in particular, there are 13 chests scattered throughout. This guide will serve as a great way to grab some scrap materials for upgrades, although the use of Outrider's fast traveling might come to be a little bit annoying. Here's the list of all of the chest locations.

First City - Chest #1

Starting in the Outskirts, players will first pass through a small white building to the left of the wooden bridge. Turning the corner on the right will lead down a pathway to the first chest for players to collect.

First City - Chest #2

Players will now need to double back and cross the wooden bridge. Continuing forward into the large grey building, players should take the staircase to the second floor. Behind them will be the second chest.

First City - Chest #3

Now in the Anomaly Hilltop, Outriders players should head towards the hole in the wall but not go through it, instead making a right turn. A pathway and a makeshift debris ramp will lead players to a small platform. To the right will be the third chest.

First City - Chest #4

Over in the power plant, players will head down some stairs and continue forward into a small room with a lowered platform on the right. On the far side of the room is the fourth chest.

First City - Chest #5

From Footbridge, players will need to head down a pathway into a small white building. The chest will be visible on the other side on the patio.

First City - Chest #6

At the Radio Tower, players will need to head into the building to their left. On the second floor, players will need to turn around and head towards a doorway that will lead to a small outer walkway. Continuing into the smaller room reveals the location of the sixth chest.

First City - Chest #7

This chest is also located at the Radio Tower, albeit on a platform next to a small lift. Its general location is closer to the edge of the side of the map where a group of smaller white buildings and spheres are stationed. In the linked video this is chest number eight, although if possible, grabbing both Radio Tower chests in one go would be a great way to reduce any back and forth.

First City - Chest #8

Beginning at the Old Man's Hut, players should turn to their right and head down a pathway to some metal flooring. Following the path will lead players to the eighth chest which, in the video, is classified as number seven.

First City - Chest #9

At the Hangman's Tree, Outriders players shouldn't make a mistake by immediately heading towards the tree. Instead, players should turn to their right, following a pathway between a body of water and some buildings. Continuing this way leads to a small courtyard and the location of the ninth chest, located towards the back.

First City - Chest #10

Now from the Container Plaza, players will want to turn around and head down some stairs. After passing under a small bridge, players should see the glowing chest tucked way in a corner, behind some fences.

First City - Chest #11

Starting from Main Street, players will want to turn to their right and head up a small hill, then up some stairs. The chest will be at the top of the stairs, against some orange boxes.

First City - Chest #12

In the Boglands, players will want to head into a destroyed building on their left. After navigating through shallow water, the chest will be in a corner on the left.

First City - Chest #13

Stick to the toxic environment of the Boglands and navigate to the area in front of the large white building. Once here, players will want to turn around and head down the grassy path, keeping to the left. The chest will be at the end of this path, amidst some deformed fences and metal scrap.

The loot from these chests may not be enough to melt the final Outriders endgame bosses with relative ease. Still, they can give diehard Outriders fans a great and consistent loot farm to adapt to over time.

Outriders is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
