While playing through Outriders, players will do a lot of shooting, killing, looting, and all the other things that one would expect from a game like this, but there's also quite a bit of lore to be found. In each of the levels, players can find notes lying around that will help them fill out their Journals. These Journal Entries are sometimes well hidden, so players will have to go out of their way to find some of them. Whether players want to find them all for the sake of completionism or to read through every page and absorb the rich lore of Enoch and its inhabitants, this is how to find all of the Journal Entries in Eagle Peaks.
Journal entries in Outriders appear as a pile of notes with pages floating up into the sky. They are usually found on dead bodies, inside buildings, and on top of boxes or furniture, but this isn't always the case. Each one provides more details about the game's character, stories, and settings, and they are also important to collect for completing certain Accolades.
Flores Engine Report
The first and arguably easiest report to find details the status of the Flores' engines during its flight to Enoch. This report is located inside the camp area at the start of the Eagle Peak. After loading in, turn around and head past Jakub and the truck. In front of a large mess hall tent there are two boxes with the notes on top.
The Second Anomaly Storm
After getting the Flores Engine Report, head to the Bunker Cable Car Station beacon and continue forward. Before going through the gate to continue onward, turn right to see a set of stone stairs leading up to a makeshift campsite. Inbetween two tents is a dead body with The Second Anomaly Storm Journal Entry.
A Foreign Agent
The next note is near the Snowy Plateau beacon. After spawning, head into what looks like a maze of sharp wooden logs and follow the path. This should lead to both a chest and a dead body with the Foreign Agent note.
Locked In
Continue on the path until reaching the Bunker Peak area. After fighting through some enemies, players should get a key to open up a locked door inside a large bunker. Before passing through here, search the area to find this table with the Locked In Journal Entry on it.
Jocelyn Dunham Journal
For this journal, players will need to go to the Antenna Car Cable Station beacon. Head back through the radio tower and notice the large bunker to the left of the lift. Inside here, players will find the Jocelyn Dunham Journal near a window that points towards the Radio Tower.
Tracing the Signal
Head back into the Radio Tower proper and turn left just before exiting the door to where the beacon is. In the corner here there is a pile of notes that contain the Journal Entry for Tracing the Signal.
Alchemist Log 1
Go back to the Snowy Plateau beacon and turn left to see doors to a bunker. This is part of a side quest called The Scientific Method, and four journal entries can be found within here. For the first Alchemist Log, simply kill the Perforo in this area and follow the quest marker to this note.
Alchemist Log 2
Continue on through the Underground Lab to find a room with several tall glass containers in it. Defeat the enemies in here and another quest marker will lead the player to the second of four Alchemist Logs.
Alchemist Log 3
Keep on moving through the compound and eventually a voice will begin to whisper in the Outrider's ear. It says "don't cry little girl..." but what the player is interested in is the note marked by the quest to the left of the door. This is the third Alchemist Log.
Alchemist Log 4
Finally, towards the end of the side quest, players will be assailed by a variety of Perforos once again. After clearing them out, approach the charred corpse leaning up against some computers and pick up the note here as the quest instructs. This is the final journal entry to be found in Eagle Peaks.
