In Outer Wilds, players are tasked with solving the mysteries of the game's fictional solar system in a 22-minute time loop that ends with the sun destroying the universe in a supernova. The player can land on any of the game's planets or space stations, each of which contains several secrets, clues, and valuable pieceos of information that are key to unlocking the truth, as well as the game's true ending.

One such place players may need to access at some point in Outer Wilds is the Sun Station. Orbiting around the game's sun, getting to the station isn't as easy as it sounds. Players could theoretically land their spacecraft directly on the Sun Station, and completionists may even be interested in attempting this since the achievement "Hotshot" can only be acquired in this manner. However, doing so is extremely difficult, given the sometimes frustrating spacecraft controls and the station's frequent orbit. Fortunately, there is an easier way to get there.

In order to access the Sun Station in a safer and more reliable way, players first need to head towards Ash Twin, one of two planets endlessly orbiting each other. Players will recognize Ash Twin as being the planet initially covered with sand at the beginning of the loop. Players should aim to land on one of the planet's poles.

As the sand lowers, the Sun Tower should reveal itself. Players can recognize the Sun Tower as it looks like a sun. It's also the tallest of the various stations and will be the first to appear as the sand disappears.

Players should first wait for the sand to lower so they can actually enter the Sun Tower. Once inside, players will need to avoid hitting the various cacti growing around the tower. Moving inside, players should be able to follow the corridor that leads to the Black Hole Teleporter.

In order to use the teleporter, players simply need to stand on the pane of glass on the floor and look up. Once they are aligned with the Sun Station, they should automatically teleport there.

Unfortunately, there's still a little ways to go. After being teleported, players will notice that the bridge connecting the teleporter with the rest of the station is missing. Players should first be able to use the gravity floors to walk around and open the nearby door. After doing so, they can use their jet to boost themselves out to the other side. Once there, players are free to explore the Sun Station and learn all of its secrets.

Outer Wilds is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
