Ori and the Will of the Wisps maintains the style and spirit of the original game, but it has also grown and evolved in some very exciting and interesting ways. The delays were well worth the wait and the finished product delivers some very cool new features. For one thing, there are many side quests to explore and some additional types of resources for Ori to collect along the way in addition to health and energy.

Early on in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, players will find themselves with the opportunity to collect something called Gorlek Ore. There is nothing that players can do with this resource at the beginning of the game, but rest assured that it will become very valuable later on, so don't pass up the chance to add some to your inventory when you first spot it.

Grom Location

So, what can Ori do with Gorlek Ore? At the start of the game, all players can do is add the resource to their inventory. This starts to change about 30% through the game, when players unlock the ability to redirect projectiles and break purple glowing rock walls. At this point, players can head north on the map to find a purple rock barrier that had previously been a deadend. With the help of some redirected purple projectiles, Ori can break down the wall and gain access to a new area - Wellspring Glades.

Once players enter Wellspring Glades, they'll find themselves in a mini quest hub of sorts, where there are a lot of new side characters to meet and chat with. One of these characters, Grom, is the NPC who knows what to do with Gorlek Ore. Gorlek Ore can be handed over to Grom in exchange for him completing projects around the world. He can do very useful things like making homes for your other critter friends and removing thorns from around the map. Players will want to collect as much Ore as possible and eventually have Grom complete all available projects.
