Some of the coolest upgrades and handy tools are locked behind wishies in Ooblets. That's not unlike many advancements in the game which require rare resources or activities to gain access to. Unfortunately for completionists, wishies aren't like fruits that can be harvested or ooblets that can be caught and collected.

Ooblets takes a different approach with their wishies currency. It's delivered in what seems like random moments. So how does somebody go about "farming" wishies when they're so sporadic? Turns out, there is a brief cycle that guarantees a steady flow of wishies every day.

Win The Tournament

Ooblets Entering The Dance Barn For A Tournament

Construct the Dance Barn as soon as possible. It's at the top of the stairs in Badgetown and should only take a handful of days to get the requisite items. The sooner the better; there are many buildings to re-establish but the Dance Barn should get priority over all of them.

There will be a tournament every day. Winning the first dance-off gives players twenty wishes and the next dance-off yields another fifty for a total of ninety. That many wishies per day for winning the tournament is a great intake. With a few supplements, no upgrade is more than a week away at worst.

Complete Daily Challenges

Ooblets Locating The Daily Tasks For Extra Wishies

One source of wishies is right there on the main screen while walking around, but it's hard to spot. In the lower left, there are three icons that represent tasks. Each one has a star value to designate how many wishies players get by completing these tasks.

The icons can be vague, for example, a symbol of a character might mean talking to them, giving them a gift, or selling something to them. There is an expand button to find out more about the task at hand. These are only five to twenty apiece, but they add up.

Acquire Badges

Ooblets Badge Pages In The Almanac

On their own, badges aren't all that exciting. It's not like having a new and powerful early game ooblet ready to go. They seem more like achievements. But these badges aren't all they appear to be. Open the Almanac and check out which badges the character is close to acquiring.

These "achievements" also come with a hefty bag of wishes. These triple-digit rewards are perfect for gamers who see something in the fountain they really want but are not interested in waiting around for it. The only limit here is the number of badges, getting them all virtually assures gamers they won't need wishies ever again.

Ooblets is available now for PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
