A new entertainment company is emerging on the horizon, One True King, founded by five popular Twitch streamers based out of Austin, Texas. Barely a day after the official launch of the brand, OTK has attracted over 40k subscribers on YouTube, 55k followers on Twitter, and 6.1k subscribers on the r/OTKnetwork subreddit.

Twitch streamers Asmongold, Esfand, Mizkif, Rich Campbell, and Tips Out announced yesterday that they are joining forces to form a network of like-minded content creators with an emphasis on friendship. While most game-based entertainment companies nowadays start with an esports roster and recruit Twitch streamers to fit the narrative, OTK is approaching things from the opposite direction, starting with the content creators themselves.

On a stream Sunday night, Mizkif and crew answered questions about OTK, its goals, and his role in the organization. "These guys, they're WoW (World of Warcraft) guys, alright? They're the WoW crew," he says. "We're going to branch out. This isn't a WoW org, and I want people to understand that." He went on to describe how this development is the result of over six months of planning and hard work. "A lot of you guys probably think we just made this today and we randomly said this. No. It's been going on for months."

The five Texas-based streamers are in the process of recruiting additional talent and securing sponsors for their new organization. During Mizkif's stream the founders repeatedly invited interested parties to send in their applications. As of October 12th, the official Twitter account was specifically calling for applicants interested in the following positions: Social Media Manager, Brand Manager, Video Editor, Graphics Guru, and HR Coordinator.

OTK has already acquired a World of Warcraft esports team for its roster consisting of Samiyam, Mes, Trill, and Cdew, who will be fighting under the OTK banner. While the OTK members are not committing at this point, there is likely to be at least some content coming out in the next few months centered around the World of Warcraft Shadowlands event.

Plans for upcoming programs include a comedy clip show on Mizkif's stream, and he alluded to a house which may be purchased specifically for the organization's use. The first official stream for OTK was a WoW-themed cooking stream on EsfandTV's Twitch channel, in which he prepared three dishes from the World of Warcraft cookbook: brewfest pretzels, crispy bat wings (with chicken as a substitute for bat wing), and Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops.

For the sake of self-promotion, the OTK network is giving away an Nvidia RTX 3090 graphics card to just one lucky subscriber. Entries are open until November 10th, 2020 at 11:59 AM PST (7:59 PM UTC). The link can be found on the official OTK Twitter page.
