One Piece has been serializing for almost twenty-five years, leaving many anime fans to wonder if the series would ever end. However, Oda has announced after returning from a short hiatus that he is working on the final arc, so the end is nearing for the One Piece manga. Passing over half a million copies printed is a feat no other anime is even close to accomplishing, with Dragon Ball only surpassing 260,000 copies. Once again, One Piece has cemented its legacy in the world of anime, and hitting this record before the end of the series is a nice send-off for the beloved franchise.
