Kaido has done a great job as the main antagonist of One Piece's Wano Country arc and is an incredibly powerful villain, known to be the strongest pirate in the entire world. As one of the Four Emperors, or the Yonko, Kaido has already established himself as a mighty pirate whose strength is beyond that of any other. Upon his introduction, Kaido was hyped as someone who always wins a one-on-one battle and is the strongest creature on land, sea, and air as well. While that already gave the fans a decent idea of how strong Kaido was, One Piece's Wano Country arc went even deeper into his character, expectedly, and showed the fans just how truly monstrous he was.

Kaido's Devil Fruit, called the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, was revealed to give him the power to turn himself into a giant blue dragon at will. Being a Mythical Zoan, this fruit was, undoubtedly, incredibly powerful. At the same time, his overpowering Haki only added to his incredible arsenal of techniques and made him even more difficult to take down in battle. Kaido's strongest technique, however, is his Rising Dragon Flame Bagua, which he recently unleashed in the fight against Luffy.

Also called Shoryu: Kaen Hakke, the Rising Dragon: Flame Bagua sees Kaido utilize a very key part of his Devil Fruit abilities in battle. As a dragon, Kaido has control over several elements of nature. With Borobreath, he can shoot fire from his mouth strong enough to vaporize mountains. With a lightning roar, he can summon lightning out of nowhere; with Demolition Gust, he can create typhoons and wreak havoc. All these abilities of his are incredibly powerful and have rightly earned him the title of "a natural disaster." It is using these techniques that Kaido accesses his strongest form, called Flame Dragon Torch, or Kaen Daiko. It is highly likely that Kaen Daiko sees the flame powers that he used to produce techniques such as Borobreath taken to the next level. In doing so, he gains access to even stronger magma-like flames that resembles King's Imperial Flaming Wings but are much, much stronger.

When accessed, Kaen Daiko allows him to produce flames from his mouth that are extremely high-temperature. Gradually, the flames engulf his entire body and form a giant dragon avatar around him, much bigger than his original dragon form. These flames are so hot that they instantly vaporize anything they come into contact with, making Kaido untouchable in combat. Using this Kaen Daiko form, Kaido is able to use techniques such as Rising Dragon: Flame Bagua, which sees him use these high-temperature flames, along with both Armament and Conqueror's Haki at the very peak of his abilities while lunging upwards. Fans saw this technique clash against Monkey D. Luffy's ultimate technique, Bajrang Gun, when the two fought in the Wano Country arc. Without a doubt, it was quite powerful and even gave Luffy's Gear 5th quite a tough time.

How Strong Is Kaido's Rising Dragon: Flame Bagua?

One Piece 1049 Release Date

Rising Dragon: Flame Bagua is, quite possibly, Kaido's strongest attack that he's shown so far for several reasons. While Kaido certainly has several techniques that look flashier, such as Destroyer of Death Thunder Bagua, none of them have the power behind them like Flame Bagua. According to Kaido, Rising Dragon: Flame Bagua is so powerful that it can even vaporize the fist of someone as powerful as Luffy if it makes contact with him. Even the Yonko-tier characters simply can't touch him when he's in this form. Upon transforming, fans could see how he melted one of Onigashima's horns without any trouble whatsoever simply by passing over it. That, when coupled with the fact that Kaido used this form to counter Luffy's strongest ability automatically means that he used what the best he had in his arsenal to combat the best of Luffy.

The flames produced by Rising Dragon: Flame Bagua aren't normal. In fact, they resemble magma more than they look like flames and are actually quite similar to King's Karyudon, which the latter likely created to pay a tribute to his very captain. These flames are powerful enough to vaporize anything and everything in Kaido's path and leave nothing behind. Furthermore, Kaido's massive size makes this technique even more dangerous. It is quite noticeable that the flame avatar Kaido creates is multiple times bigger than his real body, which can still be seen inside. Kaido's size is great enough to completely vaporize Onigashima by coiling himself around it or by merely passing through it. For him, destroying islands while in this state would be incredibly easy. When combined with the power of advanced forms of Armament and Conqueror's Haki, this technique becomes even more dangerous and shows fans how truly dangerous Kaido really is in combat.
