The Shichibukai, also known by their English name of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, were a group of 7 pirates affiliated with the World Government. All of them together constituted one of the Three Great Powers of the One Piece world, alongside the Four Emperors of the Sea, and the Marines.

Marine Admiral Fujitora took it to the Reverie to try and dissolve the Shichibukai after two of its members committed grave crimes and made use of their Shichibukai title to aid the destruction of countries, notably, Sir Crocodile in Alabasta and Donquixote Doflamingo in Dressrosa. In chapter 956 of One Piece, it was revealed that the system was finally dissolved. Now, with the Shichibukai disbanded, the bounties of the Shichibukai have been re-evaluated, with most of them receiving a bounty increase.

8 Weevil

Edward Weevil is a mysterious character who made his debut in chapter 802 of the manga and episode 751 of the anime. He is also called 'Whitebeard Jr.' as he and his mother claim that he is the late Whitebeard's son. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen.

Weevil possesses tremendous strength which was compared to that of a younger version of Whitebeard by Admiral Kizaru himself. His bounty is an impressive 480,000,000 berries, but the re-evaluated amount isn't known just yet.

7 Jinbe

Jinbe, also known as the Knight of the Sea, is the most recent addition to the Straw Hat Pirates and he joined them in the Whole Cake Island arc. He is a Fishman that debuted in chapter 528 of the manga and episode 430 of the anime, but was mentioned long before that.

Jinbe had long left the Shichibukai position, which earned him a lot of infamy. He was affiliated with the Big Mom Pirates before his integration into the Straw Hat Pirates. His contribution in Wano saw him defeat Who's Who. All this equated to an impressive 1,100,000,000 bounty.

6 Boa Hancock

Boa Hancock is the Empress of Amazon Lily and one of the strongest female characters in One Piece. She is the user of the Mero Mero no Mi, a powerful Paramecia type of Devil Fruit. At the same time, she is also a user of all three types of Haki, making her an exceedingly rare class of pirate.

Hancock was given a bounty of 80 million berries after a single voyage to the sea. After the dissolution of the Shichibukai system, her bounty was re-evaluated to 1.659 billion berries.

5 Crocodile

Sir Crocodile is one of the most iconic One Piece characters, having been the main antagonist of the Alabasta arc as Mr 0. He used to be at the helm of Baroque Works before being defeated by Luffy. Later, he was sent to Impel Down.

Luffy's invasion allowed him to escape Level 6 of Impel Down. His most recent return to the story with the Cross Guild makes him a very infamous pirate with a 1,965,000,000 bounty on his head.

4 Trafalgar Law

Trafalgar D. Water Law, also known as 'The Surgeon of Death,' is a character that has been heavily involved in the story since the timeskip. He was introduced during the Sabaody Archipelago arc with all the other Supernovas and stood out a lot alongside Luffy and Kid. He earned the title of Shichibukai after delivering 100 pirate hearts to the Marines.

During the Dressrosa arc, he was a major player in the fight against Doflamingo. His most notable contribution that made his bounty jump was his recent fight in the Wano arc. Law fought alongside the 4 other Supernovas on the rooftop against Kaido and Big Mom. Following that, he fought alongside Eustass Kid against Big Mom and came out victorious, granting him a bounty of 3,000,000,000 berries.

3 Buggy

Buggy the Clown is an old-school One Piece character, having been the main antagonist in the Orange Town arc very early on in the series. He made his One Piece debut in chapter 9 of the manga and episode 4 of the anime.

After the Summit War, he was able to achieve the status of Shichibukai with a bounty of just 15,000,000 berries. This figure jumped up after the dissolution of the Shichibukai, his shocking integration into the Yonko, and most importantly, his supposed role as the pirate who founded the Cross Guild. With all that in mind, he landed a 3,189,000,000 berries bounty.

2 Mihawk

'Hawk Eyes' Dracule Mihawk is the first ever Shichibukai to appear in the series and he made his debut during Baratie in the East Blue Saga. He is deemed the strongest swordsman in the world and is said to have rivaled Red Hair Shanks in the past.

After the dissolution of the Shichibukai system, many Marines were sent after Mihawk to capture him. To counter their threat, he teamed up with Sir Crocodile and Buggy The Clown and formed the Cross Guild– where they put bounties on the head of the Marines. All this, coupled with his terrifying strength, makes him the former Shichibukai with the second-highest bounty, at 3,590,000,000 berries.

1 Blackbeard

Blackbeard, or Marshall D. Teach, is a character heavily shrouded in mystery, and he is a major villain in the entire One Piece series. He was first introduced in Jaya and has, since then, affected the story greatly, even joining the Shichibukai when he had no bounty.

He is currently one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, a title he obtained after the death of Whitebeard. He possesses two legendary Devil Fruits, notably the Yami Yami no Mi and Gura Gura no Mi, which make him an extremely dangerous individual. All his endeavors in the New World have earned him a bounty of 3,996,000,000 berries.
