The Straw Hat Pirates are the main focus of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga. Led by the protagonist, Straw Hat Luffy, this mighty crew consists of some very powerful individuals, all of which are exceptional in their own right.
When it comes to combat in One Piece, different members of the crew shine at different things. The heavy hitters of the crew rely more on their strength and endurance to get around their enemies. Similarly, there are those who rely on speed to get the better of their opponents in battle, in a different but equally effective way.
10 Franky
Franky is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates and an incredible fighter who has only become stronger with time. During the time skip, he worked on his body to create the ultimate cyborg.
While Franky is certainly powerful, he doesn't rely on speed in combat. Instead, he relies more on strength. Franky's giant size means he's quite slow and is thus the slowest member of the Straw Hat crew.
9 Nico Robin
The archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates, Nico Robin joined the crew after the events of the Alabasta arc of One Piece. Since then, she's been one of the best fighters in the crew, although she doesn't rely much on speed either.
Robin's Devil Fruit, Hana Hana no Mi, allows her to sprout body parts from anywhere. She doesn't need to move to defeat her enemies as her Devil Fruit does quite a job for her.
8 Usopp
The sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates, Usopp is quite weak when it comes to physical combat. Just like Robin, he is mostly static when he snipes someone and is thus not reliant on his speed. Usopp does, however, rely on his speed when running away from his enemies, which he does quite often.
As a result, he is likely to be slightly faster than the likes of Franky and Nico Robin. Despite that, he's still among the slowest people on the Straw Hat crew.
7 Jinbe
Jinbe is the latest addition to the Straw Hat Pirates and he joined the crew during the Whole Cake Island arc. Being a former Shichibukai, Jinbe is an extremely capable fighter even without a Devil Fruit.
Although his size suggests that he isn't that fast, he's a skilled martial artist and is fast enough to take on most people in combat. Jinbe is, however, more reliant on hie technique while using Fishman Karate, meaning he isn't among the fastest Straw Hats.
6 Chopper
Chopper is a reindeer with the power of the Hito Hito no Mi which allows him to turn himself into a human. Using the power of the Rumble Ball, he is also granted a total of seven different transformations.
While some of his transformations are strength-based, such as Heavy Point and the Monster Point, others are reliant on speed, such as the Jump Point, Horn Point, and the Kung Fu point. In all these forms, Chopper is extremely agile and can blitz most enemies around his level.
5 Nami
Nami is the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates and a crucial member of the crew. Although one of the weakest members physically, Nami is extremely impressive in combat nonetheless. She makes use of her wits to get the better of her enemies.
Until recently, Nami was one of the slowest members of the crew but in Wano, she gained a new power-up in the form of Zeus, a thundercloud homie using which she can become extremely fast in combat.
4 Brook
The Musician of the Straw Hat Pirates, Brook is a skilled swordsman who relies on speed in combat. He is extremely fast and is capable of cutting down enemies before they even know they were cut.
Brook's fencing-style swordsmanship compliments his speed very well. He was even able to cut Big Mom's Thundercloud, Zeus during the Whole Cake Island arc with ease. On Onigashima, he defeated a bunch of Gifters and a member of the Numbers with a blazing fast swing of his sword.
3 Roronoa Zoro
Zoro is the swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates and an extremely powerful member of the crew, second only to Luffy. With the goal of surpassing Mihawk, Zoro has trained his body beyond its limits. While Zoro excels in strength, his speed isn't bad either.
Zoro is certainly capable of slicing things extremely fast, however, his swordplay is more focused on strength. Zoro did, however, evade some of the fastest attacks that the Shichibukai Kuma threw his way before the timeskip when they fought. After his training, he's likely faster than ever before.
2 Monkey D. Luffy
The Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy is an extremely capable fighter who excels in both strength and speed. During the two-year timeskip, Luffy created a new power-up in Gear Fourth, and one of its forms, known as Snakeman, gives him tremendous speed.
Using Snakeman, Luffy was able to hold his own against Charlotte Katakuri, a Sweet Commander of the Big Mom Pirates. While Snakeman makes Luffy very fast, it must be noted that it's only his attacks that receive the biggest boost as they keep accelerating until they finally land. Luffy's actual speed doesn't increase to the same level as his fists.
1 Sanji
The cook of the Straw Hat Pirates, Sanji is one of the fastest members of the Straw Hat crew, if not the fastest. Since Sanji predominantly uses his legs in combat, they've strengthened enough to make him incredibly fast. He was able to dodge Katakuri's jelly bean despite not being focused on it with ease.
At the same time, Sanji attacked Oven, saved Chiffon, and vanished before a human eye could even see a glimpse of him. With Sky Walk, he can maintain his speed in air and with Blue Walk, he can do so underwater as well. What's more, with the Raid Suit, Sanji becomes even faster and the true extent of his speed remains to be seen, meaning he could possibly be the fastest of all.
