In the manga and anime series One Piece, devil fruits grant those who eat them incredible powers, in exchange for giving up their ability to swim. These fruits are divided into three main types — Paramecia, Logia, and Zoan. Zoan-type devil fruits allow their users to transform into an animal. The devil fruits give the wielders access to a couple of forms: beast form and hybrid form.
Zoan-type devil fruits are further divided into the following categories: Ancient, Mythical, and Artificial zoans. Ancient zoans are more difficult to come by than other zoans, as they allow their users to transform into pre-historic creatures such as mammoths, dinosaurs, etc. Being rarer than most, ancient zoans provide superior strength and endurance. Here are all the ancient-type zoan fruits that One Piece viewers have seen so far.

There are still some things that Eiichiro Oda needs to address before he can finally bring the arc to its end. Also, it is clear that at this point in the arc, there will be no further revelation of new devil fruits. However, a lot has transpired in the arc so we have added the biggest feat of each ancient zoan devil fruit user.
9 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Brachiosaurus
Queen is one of the All-Stars of the Animal Kingdom Pirates. Like the other All-Stars, he too possesses an Ancient Zoan-type devil fruit. He ate the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Brachiosaurus, which grants him increased strength and recovery. In his beast form, Queen was able to knock out Big Mom by landing one of his attacks on the Yonko's head, which justifies his ridiculously high bounty.
Being a scientist himself, Queen has also made modifications to his body that make him a very dangerous opponent in a fight.
Biggest Achievement: Queen is among the main antagonists of the Wano Country arc. As the arc progressed, Queen showed why he is one of the All-Stars. He was able to fight against Marco and Sanji in a very short period. Queen's incredible durability allowed him to give Sanji a very tough time.
8 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Spinosaurus
Eaten by Page One, a member of the Tobi Roppo, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Spinosaurus was introduced very early on in the Wano Country arc. The devil fruit allows Page One to transform into a Spinosaurus, capable of wreaking havoc.
Page One displayed the hybrid form during the fight against Sanji, and despite the latter using the Raid Suit, he was able to get up after taking several attacks. This is down to the incredible recovery powers provided by the devil fruit.
Biggest Achievement: Page One made his appearance very early on in the Wano Country arc, but since then he had been mainly outclassed by his opponents. His biggest feat in the arc was defeating Usopp and Nami with the help of his sister, Ulti.
7 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Allosaurus
After pledging fealty to Kaido, X-Drake served as an underling to the Yonko. However, it was later revealed that he had infiltrated the Animal Kingdom Pirates to provide intel to the Marines. X-Drake has the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Allosaurus.
He has displayed the power of the devil fruit on several occasions. On Sabaody Archipelago, he was able to cause noticeable damage to Pacifista. In addition to his power Ancient Zoan devil fruit, Drake is also able to use both Kenbunshoku Haki and Busoshoku Haki.
Biggest Achievement: X-Drake has been involved in a handful of fights in the arc so far. While he has not been able to beat the stronger opponents, he has done things that have made him more respectable. His biggest achievement is fighting against one of the strongest members of CP0. Drake ended up losing the fight, but he still got up to deal damage to the agent, who was sent to kill Luffy.
6 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon
King is Kaido's strongest subordinate, and the user of Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon. The devil fruit allows King to transform into a full-fledged Pteranodon and its hybrid at will. It is one of the rare and powerful zoan devil fruits that grants its user the ability to fly.
King uses the power of the devil fruit to land lightning-fast attacks on his opponents. He can use his wings as swords and launch slashing attacks. These attacks can do heavy damage to the target, and even overwhelm someone as strong as Roronoa Zoro.
Biggest Achievement: King's devil fruit made him extremely fast and durable. When he clashed against Zoro for the final time, Zoro needed to unleash a new move to take him and he also needed the help of Enma. Without the blade, King would have never been beaten.
5 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Triceratops
Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Triceratops was eaten by Sasaki, a member of the Tobi Roppo. Sasaki has access to both the beast form as well as the hybrid form. As an ancient zoan devil fruit, its power gives Sasaki's endurance and strength a major boost.
He was able to stand even after taking several powerful blows from General Franky. In his hybrid form, Sasaki rotates his neck frill, which boosts his speed and increases the power of his attacks. Sasaki can also use it to fly.
Biggest Achievement: During his fight against Franky, Sasaki showed incredible resilience. In Franky's own words, Sasaki tanked multiple finishing blows, which is a rather impressive feat.
4 Zou Zou no Mi, Model: Mammoth
Being a member of the All-Stars, Jack is among the strongest members of the Animal Kingdom Pirates. He possesses the Zou Zou no Mi, Model: Mammoth, which was revealed during the Zou arc. As a fish-man, Jack already has more endurance than ordinary humans, which is amplified by this devil fruit.
The devil fruit turns Jack into a mammoth and greatly boosts his stamina and strength. He displayed his monstrous stamina when he fought against Inuarashi and Nekomamushi without taking any breaks. Like many other zoan type users, Jack can actively switch between his full beast and hybrid forms.
Biggest Achievement: Jack has shown ridiculous amounts of stamina throughout the arc. On the rooftop, Jack showed his endurance once again when he fought against the Minks, who were in their Sulong forms. After putting up a decent fight against the Minks, Jack was finally overwhelmed by their numbers.
3 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pachycephalosaurus
The devil fruit is wielded by Ulti, one of the Tobi Roppo. With it, she has proven herself to be a very strong opponent. Her skills as a fighter supplant that of her younger brother by some distance.
Ulti's fighting style revolves around headbutting her opponents, and she increases the power of her attacks by turning into a Pachycephalosaurus. Ulti's fighting abilities have been complimented by Luffy, who considered using Gear Fourth against her. Her endurance is also very impressive as it took several hits from Big Mom to take her down.
Biggest Achievement: Ulti's endurance is outrageous. When she was hit by Big Mom's powerful attack, it didn't take long for her to get up. Once she was up, she used her headbutt to crack Usopp's skull. It was extremely difficult for Nami and Usopp to defeat her afterward.
2 Kumo Kumo no Mi, Model: Rosamygale Grauvogeli
Kumo Kumo no Mi, Model: Rosamygale Grauvogeli is an Ancient Zoan type devil fruit eaten by Black Maria. With the devil fruit's power, Black Maria can turn into a pre-historic carnivore. It is one of the most unique devil fruits in One Piece.
The devil fruit suits Black Maria's personality as, like a spider, she traps the unsuspecting prey inside her web. Her legs are covered with poison barbs, which can weaken her target considerably, and thus, allowing her to feast on them.
Biggest Achievement: With her charm, Black Maria was able to overwhelm someone as strong as Sanji. Furthermore, the torture from Black Maria was enough to make Sanji scream for help, which never happened before. It took the combined effort of Brook and Robin to take down the Tobi Roppo member.
1 Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Saber Tiger
This devil fruit was eaten by Who's Who, formerly a member of CP-9. The Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Saber Tiger grants Who's Who the power to turn into a Smilodon, a fearsome carnivore hailing from pre-historic times.
While in his hybrid form, Who's Who used his devil fruit power to bolster the strength of his Rokushiki techniques. The power of the techniques was enough to overwhelm Jimbei for a short period.
Biggest Achievement: Who's Who considered himself to be a very talented killer in the past. He believed that he had enough talent to match Rob Lucci. It is plausible to say that his biggest feat is when he managed to push Jimbei on the back foot, but it didn't take long for the former warlord to beat him.
