One Piece 1064 will continue Oda's incredible stretch of mind-blowing chapters following the conclusion of the Wano Country arc and, given how the previous chapter concluded with Law and Blackbeard facing each other, fans are incredibly hyped for what's to come. Last week's chapter gave fans a bit more insight into Egghead Island and its very laws, however, the biggest focus of the chapter was the clash of the titans in the New World, when Yonko Blackbeard ambushed the Heart Pirates.
Fans got to see quite a few of the new Devil Fruit powers that the crew has acquired over time and each of them managed to use them against Law and his crew. While strong, they proved to not be enough to make a substantial difference against Law, however, the chapter concluded on an incredible stand-off between Law and Blackbeard, which One Piece 1064 will look to continue.
One Piece 1064: Blackbeard Vs. Law
One Piece 1064 will most certainly continue the fight between Law and Blackbeard as that is what most fans are excited for. Fans haven't seen Blackbeard's full power ever since he became a Yonko. His Grudge War against Marco and the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates was completely off-screened, while only glimpses of his power were shown during his invasion of Amazon Lily. What exactly he is fully capable of remains unknown to this day. One Piece 1064 could provide fans with a great opportunity to witness the true terror of Yonko Blackbeard. At the same time, fans will also get to see how much stronger Law has gotten after his fight against Big Mom. In the previous chapter, law openly exclaimed that he has learned quite a few things from his fight against Big Mom and Kaido.
One of them was demonstrated in the same chapter where Law used his Haki to overcome a Devil Fruit ability. There are certainly more things that he will have picked up from the two Yonko and that could very well be demonstrated in the next chapter. As the two titans clash, Oda has a unique opportunity to showcase a large-scale fight to kick off the final saga in grand style. Whether or not the fight will be fully shown or will be off-screened remains to be seen.
One Piece 1064: The Events Of Rocky Port
The Rocky Port Incident is one of the major events that took place at some point during the two-year timeskip. Characters such as Koby, Blackbeard, and Law are known to have been the major players in the events that transpired at Rocky Port. Interestingly, all three of these characters have been in focus recently. In chapter 1059, Koby was kidnapped by Blackbeard and in the previous chapter, fans saw Blackbeard ambush Law. It is very likely that the Rocky Port Incident will be brought up by Blackbeard in the upcoming chapter, seeing that Law is known to be the mastermind behind that event and Blackbeard capitalized on it and eventually rose to the position of Yonko because of that.
While fans do know quite a bit about this incident, the exact events that transpired on the island years ago remain unknown. One Piece 1064 could provide a bit more in-depth explanation through one of the characters as to what happened on that fateful day. As such, fans are in for an information-heavy chapter, given that Oda does take that direction with the duel between Law and Yonko Blackbeard.
One Piece 1064: The Adventure On Egghead Island Continues
While the fight between the two titans in Law and Blackbeard is certainly impressive, fans must not forget that this is still the Egghead Island arc. As such, sooner or later, the story will go back to Egghead Island, where the Straw Hat Pirates are currently in the process of meeting Dr. Vegapunk. Fans already saw Zoro's group confront Lilith and make a demand on her, as well as Luffy meeting Atlas and then being attacked by a Pacifista that acted as a police officer on Egghead Island. More importantly, Bonney finally made it known to Luffy that Kuma is her father.
Barely managing to escape from the Pacifista in the previous chapter, Oda will look to add to Bonney's painful story resulting from the capture and eventual transformation of Bartholomew Kuma. It is very likely that fans will see a flashback of the two and will hear more from Bonney about Kuma's past. For now, very little has been revealed about his relationship with Bonney and how exactly he became a test subject for the World Government and Vegapunk to experiment upon. Bonney, being a major character in the arc, will surely reveal all this and more to the fans very soon – quite possibly in One Piece 1064.
When Will One Piece 1064 Release?
One Piece is not on any break at the moment. As such, the series is expected to return in the next issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shounen Jump magazine.
