One Piece's previous chapter saw the Straw Hat Pirates get to Egghead Island and begin their exploration. Previously, the crew was seen getting separated after a mechanical animal attacked them shortly after entering the climate zone of the island. Luffy, Chopper, Jinbe, and Bonney are together at the moment.
Meanwhile, the rest of the crew have already met with Vegapunk. One Piece 1062 will most certainly continue from the events of Vegapunk's introduction and let the fans know more about her. And the same time, other things, such as the exploration of the new island will also be tackled. All eyes remain on One Piece 1062 as it will likely be full of massive revelations.
One Piece 1062: Vegapunk's Genius
The end of the last chapter of the story revealed a woman emerging from a giant robot, claiming to be Dr. Vegapunk. So far, not much is known about her, other than the fact that she is the leading scientist of the Navy and has worked on several projects for them. Fans don't know just yet if the person who has appeared in front of the Straw Hat Pirates is the real Vegapunk or not. Given that her mind is 500 years ahead of the rest of the world, it could easily be the case that she does not have just one body. Vegapunk could very much be capable of switching bodies with ease.
For now, a woman who looks starkly similar to Vinsmoke Sora has appeared in front of the fans. One Piece 1062 will see the crew talk more to her and gain more intel on her genius. Her many inventions and discoveries could be tackled in One Piece 1062. Fans have already heard quite a lot about Vegapunk since before the timeskip. However, now is the time for Oda to go into all those things in great detail. Fans should expect the next chapter to share quite a few of her accolades. At the same time, the next chapter will also establish a relationship between the Straw Hat Pirates and Vegapunk. The cases of Sanji and Franky and likely to be explored more than anyone else.
One Piece 1062: The Seraphim Project
The Seraphim were recently introduced in One Piece as clones of the former Shichibukai with powers that resemble those of the Lunarian race. Fans got to see them in action during One Piece 1059 and, there, they were able to hold their own against the Yonko, Blackbeard. The Seraphim seem to be incredibly powerful as the World Government are confident enough that they can do a great job replacing the Shichibukai. At the same time, Kaido believes that they would give the Government even more power than they once had. The person behind the project is Vegapunk and, given that the person is in front of the Straw Hat Pirates right now, it is likely that some information regarding the Seraphim could be given to the group.
Fans saw Helmeppo beg other SWORD members for a Seraphim in the previous chapter. If he does indeed go to Vegapunk, fans could well see more information about these monstrous creations revealed in the next chapter. The Seraphim are certainly going to become very important as the story moves forward and the Egghead Island arc can give fans a lot of great stuff to look forward to.
One Piece 1062: Exploration Of Egghead Island
As soon as the Straw Hat Pirates got close to the island, the crew split up, with Luffy, Jinbe, chopper, and Bonney, going one way and the rest of the crew going the other way. While the crew, likely led by Zoro at this point, encountered Vegapunk, Luffy's team is far from them at the moment. It is likely that they will roam around Egghead Island and give the fans a bit of an idea of what the place is like. Given that the island is said to be 500 years ahead of the rest of the world, it is certainly going to be an intriguing sight for the fans to witness. At the same time, Luffy and, by extension, the fans will likely find out quite a bit of new information through Bonney, who is accompanying the Straw Hat captain.
Her mission to go to the Reverie will most certainly also be revealed to the fans. At the same time, fans could also find out interesting details about Bonney's lineage. As fans know, Bonney is known to have escaped from the Celestial Dragons once. This was mentioned by Akainu after the Summit War concluded. That, and much more, such as her connection to Kuma and grudge against Vegapunk will likely be revealed when Bonney and Luffy go exploring on Egghead Island.
