The blockbuster James Bond franchise turns 50 this year, and to celebrate Activision plans on releasing a momentous video game compilation filled with memorable scenarios from prominent Bond movies. 007 Legends is the game in question, but Acti is taking its sweet time revealing which iconic films will be available to play through in the title. So far it's known that Skyfall and Moonraker will both be featured prominently in Legends, and they're now being joined by 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Other than not including a playable version of George Lazenby, 007 Legends' take on the classic James Bond movie looks to be a very authentic one. On Her Majesty's Secret Service will feature plenty of snow and (by default) snowmobiles, all of which blend together to mix up the setting quite nicely.

Teased as the second mission in a line of six (which is odd considering it's technically the third revealed section of the game), Majesty's Secret Service currently appears to be a rather solid pick — mind you it didn't make our list of top five Bond films that should be in 007 Legends. There are plenty of explosions, cable car fight scenes, rocket launchers, helicopters, and other tidbits of action-filled goodness packed into the trailer, so we can't wait to see how the mission plays out in-game later this year.

As 007 Legends inches closer to its inevitable release, Activision will undoubtedly be revealing which films have made the cut for the latest instalment in their licensed property. In the meantime, rest assured that Game Rant will keep our readers up to date on the other Bond motion pictures that have been chosen for Legends as soon as the info becomes available.

007 Legends gets its license to thrill consumers when it hits retailers on October 17th for Xbox 360 and PS3.
