Nobody Saves the World is a new action-RPG from Drinkbox Studios, known for developing and publishing the Guacamelee games. Their new title takes a break from the Metroidvania platforming and features a top-down perspective with a focus on dungeon-crawling.

The main gameplay mechanic of Drinkbox Studios' newest indie offering is the ability to change Forms. These are essentially different classes with their own combat style. Players could come across a group of enemies where they need to change Forms multiple times in a fight. It can ruin the flow of combat to constantly navigate the menus to do this, so players can use this guide to find out how to quickly change forms in Nobody Saves the World.

How to Quickly Change Forms in Nobody Saves the World

Form character wheel menu on Xbox in Nobody Saves the World

Instead of bringing up the main menu and tabbing to the Form select submenu every time, players can hold down RB on controllers to quickly change forms in Nobody Saves the World. This brings up a character wheel, so just use the right thumbstick to select the desired Form and let go of RB. Nobody will then use the magic wand to quickly change its form.

PC players can press E instead to bring up the wheel and quickly change forms. However, the gameplay in Nobody Saves the World works best when playing with a controller. It's recommended for PC or laptop players to use a controller if they have access to one.

Friends can only play together using online multiplayer in Nobody Saves the World, so bringing up the Form select wheel won't affect the other player's screen. It won't stop time during single-player or multiplayer, so try to be speedy when choosing the desired character.

How to Get More Forms in Nobody Saves the World

Nobody Saves the World contains many RPG elements, including the way players unlock more Forms. Starting with just the Nobody character, players soon receive the Rat. Completing its specific quests not only gives players XP but also Form Points. These raise the grade of that character, and when a high enough grade is achieved, more Forms will become available. These new characters must then complete their own quests to raise their grade to unlock additional characters from the Form Skill Tree, and so on.
