Players that want to increase their rank with the Knight's Guild in Nobody Saves the World must complete several quests. One of those Knight's Guild quests is called "Gorilla Warfare," and it is split up into several parts. The last of those parts instructs Nobody Saves the World players to complete the Ultimate Ranger Challenge as a Ranger at the King’s Range, and this guide contains a detailed walkthrough of how to approach this task.

Nobody Saves the World: Gorilla Warfare 2 Walkthrough

Players that are attempting to complete the Ultimate Ranger Challenge in Nobody Saves the World must first confirm that they have the requisite tools at their disposal. Those tools are either the Ranger's Dodge ability, which allows her to reposition herself quickly, or an ability from another Form that is capable of hitting the five targets that speed across the range's back row. The Slug's Blob Lob is an ability with that capability, and here are details on how to use it or Dodge to complete Gorilla Warfare 2:

Dodge

Fans that wish to use Ranger abilities exclusively for this quest in Nobody Saves the World should begin by positioning themselves on the left side of the range and fully charging her Charge Arrow. Players should then fire that arrow so that it hits between the first and second target, causing the first three targets to break. As soon as that arrow is released, fans should Dodge to their right, charge up another Charge Arrow, and fire it at the remaining two targets as they come by.

There is now a bit of a lull in the challenge, and players should simply use Charge Arrow to hit the single targets as they come by, repositioning themselves as needed. After hitting the fourth of those single targets, dungeon crawler fans should position themselves on the right side of the range, charge a Charge Arrow, and prepare themselves for another five-target wave. Players should address this wave in the same way that they addressed the first one, though they will be Dodging to the left this time around.

With the second five-target wave destroyed, Nobody Saves the World's Ranger will face yet another lull, and she should again use Charge Arrows and small positioning adjustments to hit the three sets of stacked targets. Players will then find themselves at the most difficult part of the challenge, which consists of three consecutive five-target waves. To complete this part, players will need to use the previously detailed Dodge strategy three times in a row to destroy the wave that comes from the right, then one that comes from the left, and then a final one that comes from the right.

Blob Lob

Players that are struggling to consistently break all the targets in the five-target waves with a Dodge and two Charge Arrows are advised to instead use the Slug's Blob Lob ability on those parts. Indeed, a fully charged Blob Lob can destroy all five back row targets at once if it lands near the third target in the wave, making those sections a bit easier.

In fact, the only real problem with this approach is that the recharge time on this Slug ability in Nobody Saves the World can make the final part of the challenge feel a bit tight. To overcome this problem, players should start holding the input associated with the ability while it is recharging, as that will allow the Blob to start expanding as soon as it comes off cooldown.

Nobody Saves the World is out now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
