With No More Heroes 3's recent release on the Nintendo Switch, it has given many fans the exciting return of the bloodthirsty otaku assassin, Travis Touchdown. This latest entry continues the wild and over-the-top action gameplay of the previous titles, with new improvements and several callbacks to other games in Suda51's "Kill the Past" universe. That said, this game series is still quite niche to most, where there's not much in terms of merchandise. However, a company known as SuperGroupies is releasing some awesome looking merchandise in collaboration with No More Heroes 3.
SuperGroupies is a fashion brand company based in Tokyo, Japan that produces accessories, clothes, and other cosmetics. These are based on various collaborations the company has made with popular anime, manga, and gaming properties. These include accessories for Fire Emblem, Persona 5, Kingdom Hearts, and even Fortnite. To see the company now officially produce No More Heroes themed accessories and clothing will get any fan of the series excited, especially with the current lineup involving things like a replica of Travis Touchdown's jacket.
SuperGroupies' collaboration of items is based on some of No More Heroes 3's most popular characters. These include Travis himself, the main villain FU, and even other characters like Bad Girl and Kamui Uehara. The most prominent clothing are a set of jackets, with one based on Travis and his classic riding jacket, where even Santa Destroy's star symbol is embossed on the back, much like the in-game item. Other iconography of NMH3 like logos and embroided stars are also present on the jacket.
The other No More Heroes 3-themed jacket is based on Jess Baptiste VI, or FU, with a sporty jacket that is decorated in his color scheme. This includes his bright red, blue, and white color scheme, emblazoned with the words "GODDAMN" and "SUPERHERO" on its sleeves. It can even be worn in a reverse fashion, with a base black design that has a pattern that mimics his cape. It also even comes with a little drawstring pouch that is based on FU's younger appearance.
Other Travis Touchdown-themed accessories includes a watch based on his Full-Armor appearance, along with sneakers and a backpack. Other characters get some themed merchandise, like Bad Girl, who gets some boots modeled after her appearance, along with a backpack that is similar to the one worn by Kamui Uehara in NMH3. Travis' twin brother, Henry Cooldown, also gets a watch modeled after him. All of these items are available for pre-order until September 26 and estimated to be shipped in late June 2022.
