In 2021, Suda 51's No More Heroes 3 finally released, the sequel to 2010's No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, a full decade between releases. It was one of the Nintendo Switch's biggest releases in August, and it had been a long-time coming for long time fans of the series. The game also serves as the final entry in the No More Heroes franchise, with Suda 51 himself confirming that it would serve as the stopping point for the series.

Despite the gap between numbered entries, fans were thrilled to experience this action-packed game, along with the conclusion to the series as well. This includes flashy yet graphic action gameplay, plenty of references, swearing, and other adult themes. The game's protagonist, Travis Touchdown, faces off against a number of alien superhero boss fights in No More Heroes 3, which all offer a variety of gameplay styles. While the game was announced as a Switch exclusive, NMH3 will be coming to rival platforms later in the year.

No More Heroes 3 is set to release on PC and rival consoles this Fall, complete with new boxed versions for these ports. These even include some physical pre-order bonuses such as an art book or a custom vanity license plate. While the initial announcement from XSEED Games only pegged the release of these ports for a Fall season release window, it seems like retailers have confirmed exactly when fans can get these versions of the game.

These listings for No More Heroes 3 can be found on a number of retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, and Target. Each of these retailers confirm that the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game will be released on October 4, 2022. It's not clear if this is a placeholder or confirmed release date, but the date does fall in line with the Fall release window.

While other retailers have confirmed this release date, Target in particular includes screenshots of the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game on its website. These screenshots also appear on the Xbox versions' listings. While the console versions of the game have seemingly been confirmed, the PC release date isn't known yet however. It's likely that the console and PC versions of No More Heroes 3 will release on this date, though this is only speculation at this time until an official announcement has been made.

No More Heroes 3 is now available on Nintendo Switch, with PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S ports on October 4, 2022.
