It's less than a month until the release of No More Heroes 3 on Nintendo Switch. Pre-launch marketing is already spinning up, with trailers and feature descriptions being shared. For example, the latest trailer introduced No More Heroes 3's villain and his ten Galactic Superhero cronies. Now Nintendo has shared a trailer revealing another aspect of No More Heroes 3, an aspect of the game that No More Heroes fans have been very excited to find out more about. The new trailer details No More Heroes 3's mini-games.

Three different mini-games are teased in the new No More Heroes 3 trailer, each as exciting as fans have come to expect from the franchise. For example, the arguably most exciting mini-game teased is the return of a classic. It's the No More Heroes lawn mowing mini-game. The trailer shows a timer and the prompt "Mow all the grass!" along with a bar along the bottom measuring the percentage of the lawn that's been completed. It looks like a fitting follow-up to what may have been No More Heroes' most disliked mini-game.

The two other mini-games look like they're new to No More Heroes with the new game's release. The two mini-games are plunging toilets and cleaning trash out of a river. Repairing a clogged toilet shows Travis moving the right joystick up and down, while the toilet's contents are censored. Cleaning trash out of the river shows Travis suplexing an alligator. Needless to say, the mini-games won't all be monotonous tasks.

Hilariously, the mini-games in the trailer are shown separated by some of No More Heroes 3's action sequences. That's meant to show No More Heroes 3's style of progression and pacing. Players will have to do jobs in-between missions to help fund their journey.

For those unfamiliar with the No More Heroes franchise, these "chore" mini-games are a bit of a joke, but players will still have to do them. They're largely monotonous tasks that pay out cash that can be used to buy equipment and fund missions. There's no trick to them. Players will actually have to mow lawns, plunge toilets, and pick up trash. And there are likely more mini-games beyond that.

One thing that No More Heroes fans can expect going into No More Heroes 3 is that regardless of the mini-games, the game will approach them with the same sense of humor that the franchise is known for. Mowing lawns to pay for climbing the ranks of Galactic Superheroes is supposed to be ridiculous. Hopefully, it just won't be boring.

No More Heroes 3 releases August 27 on Nintendo Switch.
