The latest Nioh 2 trial is available now on PS4, giving players a chance to face the latest challenge the game has to offer before it launches later this month. However, thanks to the extreme difficulty posed by this final chance for players to get their hands on Nioh 2, Team Ninja has decided to release an in-depth walkthrough of the first level of the demo.

Players having trouble with the Last Chance Trial can learn a number of useful tips from the video, including a look at the brand new Switchglave and Hatchets that make their first appearance in this latest title. The walkthrough is more than just a tip guide though, it is also filled with secrets that many players may have missed on their first attempt through Nioh 2's challenging missions.

The video stars the voice-over of Nioh 2 producer Fumihiko Yasuda as he plays through the first mission of the Last Chance Trial, giving tips and revealing secrets as he passes by them. Yasuda also makes note of a few different mechanics that Team Ninja has brought to this latest installment that might have even tripped up veteran players of the original Nioh. Although, for players looking to see the next 60 or so hours of gameplay that Nioh 2 is expected to offer, they'll have to wait until the game launches and play through the brutally difficult title themselves.

The time to test out this latest trial is almost over, so anyone looking to get their hands on the game before it releases should act fast if they don't want to miss out. Additionally, if the precedent already set by the company still holds up, then Team Ninja may use feedback from fans to improve Nioh 2 based on the recommendations, critiques, and praise of fans. That being said, the build of the game and the difficulty of the mission that Yasuda guides players through may change once it arrives in the base game.

Some may find this Nioh 2 Last Chance Trial to be a fairly daunting challenge, while others might see it as a quality test of both the game's capabilities and their own as a player. In any case, for anyone currently playing on PS4, right now is the best chance to see if Nioh 2 is one of March's must have. However, with a content rollout planned to give players hours of brutal challenges and a host of DLC campaigns to follow, Nioh 2 is certainly a title to keep an eye out for.

Nioh 2 is set to release on March 13th, 2020, exclusively for the PS4.
