This week Nintendo releases a self-proclaimed vintage Dark Void Zero, along with some other titles, with some Glory of Heracles, and one of the games involves scantly clad body builders. Next week we see some highly anticipated titles hitting the Wii, so I'm going to blow through this list so we are one step closer to when all the Wii goodness hits!

Here is the full list of releases:

Retail

Glory of Heracles

System: DS

Price: $34.99

Glory of Heracles is an RPG created by Nintendo starring the Greek hero Heracles (obviously). The game has an apparently deep combat system, but with pick-up-and-play qualities. The story starts with our hero washing up on a beach without a clue as to what happened to him. He gains friends along the way and travels all over Greece, and even heads to places such as Athens and.... SPARTA!

Bejeweled Twist

System: DS

Price: $19.99

This is the exact same game that was released for DSi download. Explaining what this game entails is frivolous because if you are any kind of gamer you should already know what it is!

WiiWare

Muscle March

Price: 500 Wii Points

The plot to this game is that somebody has stolen all of the mighty protein powder! You must retrieve the powder in order to maintain your rippling physic! The thieves have ran right through walls leaving a different pose with each wall they penetrated. You must strike this exact same pose in order to fit through the wall and regain what is rightfully yours!

The Amazing Brain Train!

Price: 600 Wii Points

You hop on a train that is "fueled by your mental energy, Professor Fizzwizzle's Brain Train will take you on a brain-boosting adventure." No I'm not making that up, it is actually what the official press release says.

Virtual Console

Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi

System: Sega Genesis

Price: 800 Wii Points

Play Joe Musashi, who just so happens to be a master ninja, your objective in this classic arcade brawler is to pummel all that dare stand in your way. You also have an ninja attack dog that can, and will, charge at foes on demand, setting them up for a lethal drop kick!

DSiWare

Chronos Twins

Price: 500 DSi Points

Chronos Twins DX released on WiiWare last week and this is the portable version of the game. It has some very innovative features that include controlling 2 characters at the same time in order to progress through puzzles. It sounds pretty tricky, but fun no doubt.

Dark Void Zero

Price: 500 Wii Points

I'm going to tell you what Capcom is marketing this as. Apparently it is an old NES game that never saw the light of day back in the 80's and has been brought back onto Nintendo DSis everywhere so everyone can bask in it's greatness. Dark Void releases this week on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and this is Capcom's way of building hype/marketing the Nintendo version of the game.

Me and My Dogs: Friends Forever

Price: 800 DSi Points

If you liked Nintendogs then you will love this game! You can get up to 3 different puppies and you can walk them and give them baths. There are a ton of pet games that entail the exact same gameplay, so if your a fan of those games then you may as well buy this too.

Starship Defense

Price: 500 DSi Points

Tower defense games are all the rage these days (aside from zombie titles of course) and Starship Defense is another tower defense game set in space. One of the coolest weapons in this game is the Black Hole, which you will have to use to defend your fleet across 30 different sectors.

This ends this week's retail and download releases for Nintendo. Next week we see some Capcom brawling fun, along with No More Heroes. Big titles equal a big week for the Wii, so you should check out Game Rant next week for your weekly dose of awesome!

What do you think of this week's releases? Will you be purchasing any?
