Nintendo has made a ton of games, and thus has also created many villains. Many are unforgettable, such as Bowser, Ganon, Team Rocket, Waluigi, King Boo, and many more.

However, there are many obscure Nintendo villains out there as well. This can be because the games themselves have become obscure, their fights were not memorable, or they just had no interesting personality traits.

Here are ten often forgotten about Nintendo villains.

10 Andross From Star Fox

Out of this list, Andross is probably the most memorable. However, that is only because he has the excuse of being the main villain of the series.

Despite that though, he is on this list because you actually do not see him that much. You encounter his henchmen way more often, and they become more memorable than Andross (for example, the infamous Wolf O'Donnell is quite memorable).

9 Bellum From The Legend Of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass

This big gross tentacle monster never speaks and you don't have many interactions with it except for in the final boss fight. You would think that the final boss fight would make it memorable, but a lot of the mechanics only sum up to stabbing the big yellow eye. At this point in video games, that is a very unimaginative and simple strategy.

Bellum's presence is also overshadowed by a defining character moment for Linebeck. Instead of hiding, which he does throughout the whole game, he picks up Links' sword and stands his ground to help.

8 Shadow Queen From Paper Mario And The Thousand Year Door

All the Shadow Queen did in Paper Mario is possess Princess Peach. Other than that, she did not do anything for the long game. You think that Peach's possession would be memorable, but it is all kind of sprung on the player. Before that moment, she is rarely discussed. Like many other villains on this list, she is also overshadowed by other antagonist characters like Sir Grodus and Bowser.

7 Gleeok From The Legend of Zelda Series

Gleeok is from the original Legend of Zelda and shows up again in the Phantom Hourglass. It shows up in different games in the series with a different number of heads each time. Despite being a dragon, the fights with it are not as epic as you would expect. It is one of the easier bosses in the already difficult original game.

6 Wart From Mario 2

In the Mario series, which is widely known for recurring characters, Wart is not recurring. He is also a relatively generic-looking villain in a game which is considered to be one of the stranger games in the series. He is just a frog in a coat and crown, which is a far cry from Bowser's unique design.

5 Malladus From The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

The first point against Malladus is that he is the main antagonist of one of the least talked about canon Legend of Zelda games, Spirit Tracks. While the game did get great reviews, it is still known to be one of the least popular and one of the lesser favorite games of major Zelda fans.

So, of course, Malladus is forgettable. Especially when he is overshadowed by more well-known and recurring threats like Ganon.

4 Rawk Hawk From Paper Mario And The Thousand Year Door

Rawk Hawk is a beautiful character who is bound to get a laugh from Nintendo fans who played Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door. However, it is a very long game and he is only there for one arc. The fights you have with him are also actually very short, as he is not a good fighter despite his extravagant claims.

3 Spideraticus From Wario World

Spideraticus has only appeared in Wario World back in 2003. He is one of thousands of giant spiders to kill in the video game industry, but he did have some cute boots on and a helmet. His name was also adorable.

However, that is all there is to him. There is nothing memorable about his character. He does have a wide range of attacks, but they are easy enough to get by.

2 Moldarach From The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword

You may have not as much forgotten this creature as much as you have repressed it. Despite making multiple appearances in the highly publicized trailers for Skyward Sword, this fight is one of the easiest fights in the franchise and serves mostly as a five-minute-long pigeon-hole for the games' critical Wii-motion plus integration.

1 Captain Syrup From Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3

The first appearance of Captain Syrup was in 1994 in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. She was Wario's rival when it came to thievery. She later appeared in Wario Land II and Wario Land: Shake It!.

Despite multiple appearances and a cute design, Captain Syrup never quite caught on in terms of Nintendo villains.
