Nintendo's eShop is currently offering a discount on several games. The target of the sale this time is for some of the best indie games players can get on the Nintendo Switch. The deal is only available until the end of Dec. 28th, so anyone who wants to get in on it will have to do so quickly.
The games may all be indie titles, but they run the gambit in terms of gameplay from shoot-em ups to puzzlers, with a healthy dose of platformers thrown in, of course. The wildly popular deck-building game Slay the Spire is $20, which is a good deal for how much game there is in the relatively straightforward title. For those who enjoy a good puzzle but don't like card games nearly as much, there's Baba is You, one of the year's hidden gems that sees players manipulating reality with words.
A few of the games deserve special mention, both for their quality and their price in the deal relative to that price. One is Cuphead, which was hailed as one of the greatest games of 2017. With everything from imitators to Netflix deals under its belt, it is just as worth a play now as it was then. The fact that it can be picked up right now for $14 is just the cherry on top.

The second of these games is Downwell, a game that involves falling down an endless shaft while blasting enemies with gun boots. It has earned accolades across the board, and despite being less known than some of the other games on the list, remains popular among many. With recommendations from trusted sources behind it, it is easily worth a pick up at its current price: $1.50.
The last of these to draw attention to is Unravel Two. The first Unravel made waves when it was first released, being a cute, fun, enjoyable platformer that saw players step into the shoes of a small creature made of string. The sequel was brought to the Switch and featured more of the same, this time with co-op included. Ordinarily available for $20, the current sale has the game down to just $5, an easy price for anyone who has wanted to see what the fuss was about, but hasn't wanted it enough to spend full price.
