Last October, Nintendo released a special Fortnite-themed Switch console called the Fortnite Wildcat Bundle. Unfortunately for players in the US, this special Switch console was only made available in Europe until now. In an announcement posted on Nintendo's official Twitter account, the company revealed that the Fortnite Wildcat Bundle is now available in the US as a Cyber Monday surprise.

This special Fortnite-themed Nintendo Switch will have Fortnite already pre-installed in the console, alongside 2,000 V-Bucks for players to spend in the in-game store and a download code for The Wildcat Bundle. The most exciting feature of this special edition of the Switch is its Fortnite design scheme, which is placed all over the hybrid console. The Switch dock of the Fortnite Wildcat Bundle is filled with all sorts of Fortnite-related icons and logos alongside a pair of yellow and blue Joy-Cons.

The Fortnite Wildcat Bundle is priced at $299 and will be available in most major gaming retailers. One major thing that players should know is that it appears stocks of the Fortnite Wildcat Bundle will be in limited quantities, especially since stocks of the regular Switch itself have been coming and going this past year. Nintendo's website says that the Fortnite Switch Bundle will be "available while supplies last," so players interested should act now before they disappear. Given that the holidays are just around the corner, this special Switch bundle will definitely be a perfect gift to any Fortnite fan.

Meanwhile, for players who may have missed last week's Black Friday deals, several retailers are currently offering massive discounts on video games, including a selection of first-party titles on the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, it appears that the Switch console itself still remains at full price. However, several retailers are offering the console bundled with either a game or an SD card, which could serve as a good starter kit for new Switch players.

On the side of the games, it is worth noting that Switch titles rarely go on sale, making today's Cyber Monday sale the best opportunity to grab them at a discount before they return to their regular prices. Headlining the Switch's discounted games is Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which is available now for $27 from its usual price of $60. Other first-party Switch games that are available for cheap include Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Let's Go Eevee ($30), Luigi's Mansion 3 ($40), Mario Tennis Aces ($27), and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe ($35).

Fortnite is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
