As Black Friday draws near, retail outlets and game publishers have started to unveil deals and discounts for consumers to select from, and Nintendo is no exception. With a wide selection of games on the Nintendo eShop, the company has now released Black Friday discounts that apply to a variety of games.

In terms of sales, Nintendo has garnered quite a lot of success this year. With the release of major hits like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Pikmin 3 Deluxe Edition, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Nintendo has enjoyed a lot of attention from the gaming community. Now that Black Friday is almost here, the company plans to offer excellent titles with sizeable discounts.

Over on Nintendo's official Twitter page, the company released a small video showcasing some of the major titles going on sale, with discounts as large as 50% off the retail price. Perhaps one of the most impressive deals is Skyrim on Nintendo Switch discounted by 50%, putting the price of the game at $29.99. This should allow users more affordable access to one of Bethesda's most popular titles.

In addition to Skyrim, Nintendo has great deals on other huge games, like Cuphead, Hades, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Super Mario Party to name just a few. Though, what's ultimately surprising is how long the sale is going to last. Black Friday is happening later this week, but Nintendo's Black Friday sale actually starts today and ends on December 2, over one week from now.

It really is amazing how much variety Nintendo has provided players in terms of game selection for this sale. It's important to note that this sale only applies to digital games, not physical ones. Although, various retail outlets, such as Walmart and Best Buy, will likely have their own sales in terms of select Nintendo games and other various video game-related items.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds in terms of Nintendo. While this year saw a lot of great titles released by the publisher, there are still so many games on the horizon that Nintendo has yet to properly show off, let alone release, such as No More Heroes 3, Metroid Prime 4, and Bayonetta 3just to name a few examples. However, for now, Nintendo Switch users can still enjoy all that the Black Friday digital sale has to offer.
