However, that is set to change with Princess Peach: Showtime!, an action-adventure game that propels Nintendo's beloved heroine into the lead role for the first time in more than a decade. Showtime!'s gameplay appears to involve changing customs to unlock different abilities and movesets, and the campaign seems to be structured around a stage play.
Nintendo has kept quite a few details about the game close to its chest, but everything shown so far has been exciting. Who knows, if Showtime! proves to be a success, it might spark a new subseries starring Princess Peach. Considering how long she has been around, she deserves her own vehicle.

In a pleasant surprise, Bandai Namco has confirmed that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is coming to the Nintendo Switch in the form of a deluxe edition. The combat flight sim debuted in 2019, garnering a largely positive response at the time. While still challenging and deep, this entry is slightly more accessible than some of its predecessors, making it the perfect option for beginners who wish to try out the genre.
Despite its age, Ace Combat 7 is still visually and mechanically impressive, and it is quite a get for the Nintendo Switch. Hopefully, the game runs well as the console does not have all that many flight sims.
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD

One of the many games revealed at the June 2023 Nintendo Direct, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is getting remastered for the Switch in the form of Luigi's Manion 2 HD. Despite being more divisive than the GameCube classic and Luigi's Mansion 3, the 3DS original is still great by most metrics, and it was among its console's crowning achievements. The project's teaser did not reveal the scope of the changes, and there is a chance that only a graphical upgrade will be included. In terms of a release date, Nintendo has yet to confirm anything, although Luigi's Mansion 2 HD could be set for a Summer 2024 debut.
