Nintendo releases several brand new trailers for Nintendo Switch launch title 1-2 Switch, showing off a crying baby mini-game, a shaving mini-game and more.

A Nintendo Switch launch title, 1-2 Switch is one of the most talked about games announced for the console. A party game comprised of several mini-games, 1-2 Switch previews have said that the game gives players a good chance to get to grips with the Switch's Joy-Con controllers and that it's a great deal of fun. Many have also said that its mini-games are more than a little bit ridiculous, though as some new trailers for the game show, people don't know the half of it yet.

Nintendo has released a slew of new trailers for the game, showing that the cow milking feature in the 1-2 Switch announcement trailer is just one of the many weird and wonderful games the title has to offer. In one mini-game, the Nintendo Switch turns into a crying baby and players must cradle the console's portable tablet in their arms until it falls asleep. Just like in real-life (as many new parents can attest to), the baby may start crying almost as soon as the 1-2 Switch player puts the console down, so although there isn't much to the mini-game it could still provide a challenge.

Although 1-2 Switch does feature some more 'traditional' gaming mini-games, such as one that lets players take part in a sword fight and another that lets players become a wizard, there are plenty of other oddball ones as well. For example, there's also one that lets players answer a telephone and there's another that sees players stroll down a runway and pose for photos. There's even one in which players compete against one another to be the best at shaving their facial hair.

1-2 Switch may be utterly bizarre, but its outlandishness could potentially help the game (and the console it's on) succeed. The Nintendo Switch launch line-up has been criticized as 'weak' with some fans unconvinced that the console will offer enough to entertain them at release. But the silliness and the potential for fun as friends and family members play against one another could keep players well occupied until much hyped Nintendo Switch titles Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey launch later in the year.

Just like Nintendo's other mini-game titles, Wii Play and Wii Sports, which launched alongside the massively successful Nintendo Wii console, 1-2 Switch could potentially lead the Nintendo Switch to success. Nintendo is hoping to sell 2 million Switch units at launch and if 1-2 Switch proves to be a huge party hit, then the game will be one of the biggest factors in the console hitting that target.

1-2 Switch launches alongside the Nintendo Switch on March 3.
