Full retirement just wasn't in the cards for former President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime. Last Thursday, Fils-Aime announced on his Twitter account that he will now be teaching at Cornell University.

Reggie is well known for being an outspoken and fearless leader among the gaming community. He's also known for his sense of humor, inspiring catchphrases like, "My body is ready," and self-proclaiming his nickname as the "Regginator."

It was a great loss when Reggie announced his retirement as Nintendo of America President back in April. Since his retirement Mr. Fils-Aimé has been just as outspoken as ever, taking on the controversial remarks of the President claiming video games caused gun violence. It seems that the Regginator will continue to share his wisdom now that he'll be working with students at Cornell.

Before Nintendo, Fils-Aimé graduated Cornell University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science from the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.  His new title is, "Leader in Residence," which appears to be a role more akin to a distinguished guidance counselor. Fils-Aimé writes that he will be mentoring and leading discussions around leadership and "conscious capitalism."

Cornell University has wasted no time adding Reggie to their staff list on their website. Classes have already commenced at the University, yet no official class has been listed for Reggie at this time. Reggie, or Reginald as he is listed on the website, has made the promise to teach a disciplined approach to business with a combination of, "creative and non-linear thinking".

Whether this is a temporary or permanent position is yet to be determined, but it's nice to see the Fils Aime imparting even more wisdom to the future leaders of corporations.
